Find the Cheap McCandless Township Hotels

Stayed for the second time and loved home2. I have lived in Cranberry Town before. There are facilities for family suites, bringing back meals from Chinese restaurants in town, refrigerators, microwave ovens, and utensils, very convenient. Also close to Jiahui Supermarket. Breakfast is standard American and it's better than clean.

we were hear three nites as part of a road trip - the hotel was very nice - close enough to pittsburgh to see things there but far enough away to be quiet & safe & save a little money (less expensive/free parking) .... clean - no worries there --- breakfast was half & half but i don't expect much from chain breakfasts (always seemed to be out of what i was looking for - but not the worst) --- my only issue and others have raised it in other reviews is lack of seating - one chair - we made it work - but not very comfy if you're staying in on a rainy night - i guess i should have paid for the suite, but still for $200+ a night a second chair would've been nice - room was good for a short stay or one person for longer - but for an extended stay i'd recommend going for the suite so it's not so claustrophobic

I stay at this Quality Inn & Suites often since I have relatives and friends in the Pittsburgh area. It is located close to the PA Turnpike, and that makes it easy to travel to Kennywood. It is also easy to access the Pittsburgh Zoo, Downtown, and the North Shore via Route 8, where it is located. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. I have no complaints and will be back again next year. I didn't try the breakfast since we like to eat at Eat N Park with family in the area.

The stay started out decent enough. Then, at night, we went to ask for towels, as our rooms did not have any. When we went to the front desk, there was a sign that stated “Out for 30 min - sorry for the inconvenience.” It left a phone # to call if anything was needed. We called the #, and the employee on the phone seemed confused and uninterested in helping us at all.Then he hung up. We walked around to ask for help, and finally a worker was walking around (I believe the worker that was on the phone). When we asked him for help, he didn’t even say anything, he just opened a closet up and handed us towels. The next morning I saw him, and asked to talk to him. He just stared at me, and slowly made his way over… clearly not wanting to talk to me. I told him I was disappointed with the situation, as we weren’t treated well. He said he was “sorry”, and that was all. To follow all of this, the heat in our room barely worked. I knew it wouldn’t be the best hotel, as it isn’t a pricey one, but they really need to work on their staff and how they interact with customers. The service was horrific.

There is a parking lot, on the side of the expressway, you have to travel at high speed.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed very comfortable. The hotel overall was extremely nice. Only negative was our dining experience at the restaurant bar. The food was mediocre (we ordered steak). The server definitely needed some retraining on client experience. In fact at one point we overheard her complain about having to mix cocktails. She literally works in a BAR. We'd stay again but we would skip the restaurant.

Breakfast foods provided were minimal, including the lowest quality plastic dinnerware possible. Ceiling grid in the bathroom of 312 was rusted and peeling. Shower base was also rusted and the shower door would not stay closed. There was no exhaust fan, condensation covered everything after showering. The chair in the room has a suspicious white stain on the seat. Bed pillows were small and very soft. Check in/out was easy and staff was pleasant.

I am absolutely not a picky person at all when it comes to hotels, neither is my family. The walls being dirty, as well as multiple other surfaces either being rusty or dirty as well, was hardly an issue. But at 1:30am, the toilet began spraying water from the back all over the floor, causing the entire bathroom floor to be covered with water. My mom went to the front desk, and let them know what was going on. They told her nonchalantly that they would have maintenance check it. When she explained to them that it is actively leaking, and close to seeping into the carpet outside of the bathroom, they told my mom that it was fine. We just attempted to put towels down. I have never written a bad review in my life, but I do not want anyone to be stuck at 2am with their bathroom covered in water-especially in cases like mine, where I am on crutches, and am now unable to enter the bathroom completely due to the constant leakage of water from the toilet.
