My sister helped me to check in earlier in the afternoon because we arrived at JFK 10pm on that day and we don't know why our rooms were put as stay over, thus the cleaners don't provide bed tidying nor changing bedsheets until we inquired.
Though we stayed 7 nights we were only provided drinking bottle water on the first day and the hotel is charging USD3.75 per small bottle of drinking water.
The hotel is strategically located, easy access to restaurants and the bus stops is just beside the hotel.
The receptionist Ms Shantel was very nice and service commendable when we reached hotel 230am. We met her again the day we left and the hotel should have more staff as friendly as Ms Shantel.
This was my first time staying in Secaucus as my friends with me told me the area was great. I booked the Residence Inn and you cannot go wrong with the location. Places to eat, shop, bus across to NYC around the corner. The staff are top notch. Checking in the woman we checked in through was awesome. So friendly and personable. The room was awesome. Full kitchen, sectional couch that pulled out to a bed and a King Size bed. Washroom was spacious I really enjoyed the kitchen. We hit Walmart down the street and grabbed stuff so we didn't have to always be out places to eat. Clean room, AC was spot on. The free breakfast was great too. There is a Chili's and a bar Hoolihan's right outside of the hotel. Overall you really cannot go wrong with any Marriott brands. I will definitely be back
Stayed for three days without cleaning
I asked for it myself
Looks like it's only cleaned in the morning
Cleaning must be booked in advance
Otherwise do not scan
The wild wings at the entrance of the hotel are not delicious. The chicken wings are unpalatable
The ingredients carrot and celery are delicious and raw. I’m really hungry.
It is recommended to go to Manhattan by public transportation, it only takes about 30 minutes
Driving is really not recommended, it is difficult to park and the fees are high, but there seems to be a special price on Sundays, 12 hours 35 dollars plus tax, some are even cheaper than this
In some places, the meter stops at the side of the road at 6 hours, it is said that it is much cheaper and some time periods are free
Manhattan is far from uptown to downtown, I try to walk
I found out that I was exhausted, and then I took the subway for 3 dollars one way
Speaking from experience, this weekend is when the traffic cream will be clearer

The website said that there was a restaurant on site which there is not. Given the location, it’s a pain to have to go out for dinner. There was one Italian place that delivered and was actually pretty good. TV did not get all the channels on the guide. I needed something printed which I could not get done. Room was average. I was upgraded as a Hilton diamond member but nothing special. Staff was very friendly but just apologetic and not problem solvers.
We stayed one night before our cruise. We drove from Canada and arrived early morning. Check in wasn’t until 4pm but the lovely ladies at the front desk locked up our luggage, let us park and gave us access to a restroom to freshen up. We toured NYC for the day, the bus stop was just across the street, so convenient. And upon returning check in was a breeze. Our room was very spacious. We were a family of 6 and it didn’t feel right at all. Everything was very clean and comfortable except our pull out couch didn’t feel nice to us. We just put the mattress on the ground and had a great sleep. We checked out the pool, there is no whirlpool/hot tub. The pictures I saw must have been old. My son used the gym and enjoyed it. Breakfast was above my expectations! Very good. We definitely enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Horrible customer service. I had a medical emergency and could only stay for one night out of my two night stay. I told them at 9am which is well before checkout time The staff refused to refund the other night. I even asked they could just give me a credit for one night. They wouldn’t do it. Don’t waste your money at this hotel. Stay somewhere else that has better customer service and human decency.
This hotel is great! I loved my stay and completely satisfied with it. I got a first floor room which is super close to the everything. The king suite is very spacious and comfy. The sofa bed is great as well. I like how the management is very careful and helpful in addressing my requests. The best part is it is so close to the bus stop for a bus to NY. Simply walk 2 min, buy ticket at the machine, and wait for bus 320, will get you to the Port Authority bus station right by Time Square. Super convenient and worth every penny!

Ordinary motel type, room facilities are old, but enough, health is OK, coffee machine can pick up a cup of hot water, is a big help for people in China, can drink tea. There is a microwave oven that is awesome. When I am hungry, I will buy something at the convenience store and heat it up. The Chinese gospel.

GGuest UserStayed here for a concert at MetLife Stadium. Location was great…took a bus from across the street to American Dream and walked to MetLife. The hotel is very clean and modern. The front desk personnel were so pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserWe were visiting my dad for his 50th birthday and we wanted to be close to NYC but not in the city. This hotel is perfectly located near the NJ transit and Uber’s are able to find you quickly at the front of the hotel. We had room 201 which was fully equipped with a kitchenette and all the little things we needed. The staff, Michelle and Amanda were both super welcoming and friendly. Always smiling and chatty even after a long day. The only complaint we had about this hotel is where our room was located. Next time we stay, we will request a middle of the hallway. The hotel is right next to a freeway and it can be very loud! I had to buy a box of ear plugs after the first night.
浮浮云On Saturday night, there is no suitable hotel in Manhattan. The store was found 15 hours before the check-in. There is breakfast, the price is right, and it takes 45 minutes by bus to Manhattan. I didn't expect that although New Jersey was separated from New York by a river, it was a lot of nights. At 8 o'clock in the evening, the bus was quiet, and people regretted it. Fortunately, only 5/6 minutes walk, I saw the LOGO shining, and my heart settled down. The room is quite big, 40 pings should be there, the facilities are good, there are new Samsung standards in China, and breakfast is included. The price is a little more than a third of the Manhattan area. The 1200 tax is very good. Quiet and noisy at night, hot water. After breakfast at 7:30 in the morning, I rushed to Manhattan. The navigation was a little episode. The 129/190 bus stop was not very easy to find. In short, I found it and arrived at the public station in 15 minutes.
What I can not say!! I worked for this company for years, got transferred in and out to run multiple properties. After relocating firm Virginia back to New Jersey, I came back to my old stomping ground. Miss Iris, the GM, has been absolutely phenomenal running the property at the ESA at Secaucus Meadowlands. Her staff is so well trained. I have offered them breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they never accepted. I believe Ms. Iris deserves to be nominated to be manager of the year, and our staff deserves to be recognized as well
GGuest UserAfter searching listing for low priced but clean and safe place to stay drove by this red roof very close to stadium. Stopped there checked rates which were very reasonable for area. Room was basic lowest cost option no coffee maker fridge or microwave. Safe available for $2.00 fee. Had hair dryer nice t v. Appearance of bed and bathroom area seemed newer bed was nice and the room appeared clean. It was an older motel for sure but nice view across river in back of buildings convenient free parking in front of door. Night we were there was quiet except air conditioning was a bit noisy. Lobby does need some work was dirty and in disrepair. There was a coffee tea station that was unappealing. Office ladies were fine checked in and out no problem. The whole surrounding neighborhood is a bit seedy overall but for our purpose it was fine.. we usually stay in lower cost motels so we had no complaints.
MMcKenzie AThank you in advanced for reading, it's a long review, but I believe it's worth your attention and time. My husband and I stayed here just for a quick weekend trip to NYC. We chose this hotel because of the convenience of having the bus stop right outside the hotel. Took the 320 bus to Port Authority. $4.50 each way (we paid cash and the driver could not give us change back just fyi). We were at Port Authority terminal in about 15 minutes, it was perfect! When we checked in, the concierge was on the phone and when she got done talking, she was complaining how the person on the other line did not understand her and couldn't speak any English. First, I don't need to know about the conversation you had. And second, it's just not a great look for you or the hotel. You're supposed to be welcoming and polite and you missed the opportunity to do so. Now let's talk about the actual room we stayed in. From first glance it seemed fine. We just needed a basic, clean place to stay, nothing fancy, but we couldn't even get that. The floors had not been probably mopped in months. After my shower I used the towel to wipe some water off the floor and the towel went from bright white to brown. Disgusting. We did not go barefoot at all that weekend in the room. My socks I wore from the bathroom to the bed instantly went from a baby blue to a brown from the floors (picture provided). It was just unsettling and made you think about other surfaces that have probably not been touched in months. Also, bring your own toiletries. 1 small bar of soap is all we got. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion provided. I had brought my own luckily so didn't need to ask. It's not a big deal asking, but it feels more welcoming when those things are already provided. Now let's get to the continental breakfast. For the price we paid for two nights (a little over $500) we were expecting a bit more options. Oatmeal, packaged muffins-not fresh, granola bars and coffee. That's all. I don't expect much from continental breakfast, but this seemed to be sub par from most. Some fresh fruit and toppings for the oatmeal would have been nice, and maybe some juice and non pre packaged muffins could be an idea. I have never stayed at an extended stay before, but I was expecting the room to have at least plates and silverware already there. We ended up having to ask the front desk for a few plates and forks, which is no big deal, but the concierge at the desk acted like it was a whole task for her to do that. The ”let me go see” after we asked was filled with attitude and bother. All I wanted was to enjoy my birthday cheesecake Overall the only reasons I would tell you to stay here is if you need a quick place to stay for a night or two that has easy and affordable access into the city. Bring extra socks or slippers and maybe pack your own breakfast items if you're a breakfast person. Otherwise I would not come back here for the two reasons of cleanliness and lack of hospitality. There are
