Ciudad Real, 45 degrees in the middle of August and a 4-star hotel without a pool...it was disappointing, although the rest of the hotel is fine and has good facilities

The hotel is very nice, very spacious, has a gym, and outdoor and underground parking for €8, as well as very thoughtful decor.
The rooms are clean, with air conditioning, a shower, a hairdryer, hair conditioner, body lotion, and a minibar.
The staff we interacted with was very friendly, which is always important.
And finally, the breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. It's buffet-style and has everything: fruit, cold cuts, pastries, breads, coffee, juices, cereals... It's very rich and varied.
