Museum Guest House is absolutely brilliant, very close to cruise port, but if you have a lot of luggage like my wife, who doesn’t travel light a taxi will cost you 25 euros. The owner Francesco is waiting to greet you and takes his time in explaining all you need to know. Getting about is very simple as the location is central and everything is within walking distance.Whatever you want be it site seeing, restaurants, trains or tours Francesco is always there to help, he is a mind of information. Rome is 50 minutes by fast train and 75 minutes with slow train cost difference fast train 16 euros per person one way, slow train 5 euros per person one way. Airport directions no bus you can go by train to Rome change train and travel onto airport cost approximately 20 euro per person or go by taxi costing 200 euro or use Uber costing 150 euro. Regarding the Guest House it is beautiful and clean with daily maid service, we had a table and chairs to sit for coffee and breakfast all refreshed daily and included pastries, cake, breads, butter, jam etc, the fridge had soft drinks, milk, yogurts variety of juices and water all free. Would we stay here again, most definitely. We say a big Thank You to Francesco and his team for looking after us and allowing us to visit their beautiful premises. We will be back.
