This was the worst Hilton I have ever stepped foot in. The only thing it had going for it was the very sweet and friendly front desk agent, Jennifer. I can’t believe this place is still open and feel that the health department needs to investigate. The smell coming off the elevator on the fourth floor was foul and smelled like mildew. I immediately felt tightness in my chest. The room looked decent but the carpet felt damp and the mildew smell was overwhelming. We asked for another room and were given one on the third floor. The smell off the elevator there was even worse. Then we saw the issue. A ceiling tile pushed aside with a tube going down into a 55 gallon trash bin. It was full of smelly dirty water and the ceiling was still leaking. It looked like a sewer pipe. And there were water stains all along the rest of the hallway ceiling. We asked for a refund and left 10 minutes later. I’m amazed that they risk people’s health and safety for profit. The hotel or at least those floors experiencing the leak problems should be closed until the problem is resolved. Mold and mildew make people sick and should be taken seriously.
