Leworthy Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Leworthy Farm House B&B for 2 nights while attending a wedding at Glebe House, and it was perfect. The location is ideal – only about 10 minutes from the venue. Communication from the owners prior to our stay was brilliant – they recommended great restaurants and supplied local taxi numbers (taxis are limited, so we’d suggest booking early if you’re attending an event). Check-in and check-out were really easy, and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast each morning was absolutely brilliant. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and just what we needed for our stay, with the lovely touch fresh chocolate brownies and fresh milk for rooms available too. We would definitely recommend Leworthy Farm House to friends and family, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Lewprthy Farmhouse B&B is a treasure. Beautiful surroundings, furnished to high standard and hosted by Neil and Kirsty. Neil is a mine of information as well as having a wonderful sense of humour and Kirsty is welcoming, kind and generous.

As this was our fifth stay at the Leeworthy , you could call it our home from home. Once again with Kristy’s fantastic lemon drizzle cake and Neil’s banter at breakfast is always something to look forward too . The rooms are wonderful, the breakfast variety superb, and on our visit in June , our fellow guest were so friendly it made our holiday. Looking forward to another visit . Paul and Stuart .

Quiet and relaxing place. We stayed with two kids and the huge garden was a big bonus. Excellent & freshly cooked breakfast. Very clean & tidy house. Thanks a million to Kirsty & Neil for making this stay fantastic. Free parking is available as well as tea/coffee facilities. The honesty bar is a great plus.

Our initial plan had been to stay at a different property but, due to an unforeseen change in circumstances, we and our German friends found ourselves staying with Neil and Kirsty at Leworthy Farmhouse. It turned out this was a massive stroke of good fortune. We don't find ourselves in the West Country very often due to the distance but if I was to try to imagine the perfect Devon B&B, it would be Leworthy Farmhouse (it would be perfect anywhere actually). It's surrounded by quiet, rural Devon country lanes but isn't at all far from Holsworthy if you need any of the amenities a town can offer. Neil and Kirsty are very warm and friendly; easy-going and easy to chat to. The rooms are great, well-appointed, clean etc. The shower in Room 5 is awesome. Breakfast includes bacon, sausage, hog's pudding and eggs - all sourced directly from the farm and all delicious. There are plenty of alternative options for those who prefer continental. Kirsty also makes chocolate brownie and lemon drizzle cake to which guests are invited to help themselves. I don't tend to write reviews very often but Leworthy Farmhouse has motivated me enough to log on. If we ever find ourselves back in this part of the West Country, we'll be straight on to Neil and Kirsty to see if we can stay with them. If you're looking for a place in the area, don't look any further.

Absolutely deserving of its fantastic ratings on Trip Advisor! We stayed 2 nights as a coupe, beautiful room over looking the lake, amazing breakfasts, superb hosts and beautiful setting in Devon countryside. Would recommend to everyone & anyone!
