This hotel is nice for the price. Staff is friendly lobby looked clean. The room was a suite with a couch, sink and fridge. It’s very outdated but the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were soft. The floors did feel dirty but for 100$/weekdays 70$ it’s a good place to stay. Pool was green not sure what’s going on there so if your wanting to use it call them first. I would come back and stay here again. We didn’t eat the breakfast.

Although it still has the look and charm of a very upscale victorian hotel it has been updated with newer features. The breakfast is your typical waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms are the same with plenty of towels, soap and other toiletries. There usually are at least two complimentary bottles of water and a big, soft robe to sit back and relax. I absolutely love this hotel. My husband and I go there to just get away from the house. Not only is it close to antique shops, unique eating places, entertainment venues it is only 25 minutes away from the Brazos River and other interesting places.
