As an American historical building, the hotel is very simple and has an American flavor. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the location is extremely superior, the surrounding walking distance is the art museum and the history museum.

Adjacent to the Business School of Case Western Chu University, the front desk staff at the hotel have a good attitude, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and a nice hotel.

Lovely hotel directly adjacent to the museum circle in Cleveland, Ohio. Across the street from the botanical garden. This is an old, remodeled mansion with plenty of charm and ample places to sit and visit in the various rooms on the first floor. Our room was standard fare, but bright and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had many choices - from Greek yogurt and fruit to eggs, sausage, bagels, and fried potatoes. You can’t beat the location, and it’s also right around the corner (and down an alley) from l’Albatros, a wonderful French restaurant. One note: I am not sure the entrance is accessible. There’s not only a curb, but a steep step up into the building. I did not see an alternate entrance.

The staff and hotel are so welcoming and accommodating. We have stayed there twice so far and are planning more trips. It is located in a quiet location but has access to the sections of Cleveland that we need to visit.

Glidden House is a goregous building, in a charming area, by the Botanical Gardens and Art Museum. It made for an enchanting stay. Parking is available, for a modest fee. The breakfast service was also of a fine quality. This is probably the best place to stay if you are visiting the Case Western Reserve campus.
