The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

Fairly unexciting hotel but quiet and clean and great breakfast. Nice pool and gym. Aimed more at conferences and group events than tourists as breakfast ends at 930

We spent a Saturday playing golf at the resort. The course was in good condition despite the rain and the speed of play was okay for a weekend. The package we had included bacon roll and coffee on arrival and sandwiches and chips after the game. It was fantastic value to money and we were very well looked after by the staff, particularly Julianne who was excellent. Will certainly be returning.

Had an amazing stay here for my Boyfriends 26th Birthday. I arranged with the reception staff for balloons and cake to be put in the room as a surprise, we dropped them off the night before and unfortunately one of the 26 balloons had broken, however the staff went out on there own way in the morning and brought new beautiful ones which were better than the original ones we brought, they set up the room for us and upgraded it as lovely gesture! The room was spectacular and The young lady who helped was so kind and thoughtful ❤️ It's the little things like this that matter and it went a long way😇Thank You so much we will definitely be coming again and I hope the young lady is rewarded with the recognition she deserves ❤️

Great stay made all the more special by the lovely staff. Food was the only let down limited choices not very healthy options

The stay was generally very good indeed. Staff were very friendly and professional. The venue was spot on and rooms were first class. The only disappointment (and it was a big one) was the evening meal. The food was shocking - some kind of dumplings dish and chicken curry. The rice wasn't cooked (I mean how can you get that wrong!), the curry was the blandest I have ever tasted. Even the cheesecake and ice cream deserts had no taste. It's such a shame as every other aspect of my stay at the hotel was first class.

We stayed for the 2nd time in this hotel and we were very happy with the room 704 in the Darby House and the overall service and the food in the restaurant. We will return and can only recommend this hotel.

the hotel and staff are lovely but if try calling you cant get through, i tried to call and book the spa left messages but could not get through, had to book when i got to the hotel and did not get an appointment when i wanted it.

Fantastic place to stay and excellent value for money. I have been staying at this hotel for over 6 years and every visit has been brilliant. The reception staff we welcoming and friendly, the young lady in the restaurant was attentive but 'not over bearing' the food was well cooked and well presented and the room was comfy and very clean (thank you Sindy). A favourite place of ours to visit and we will be back very soon. thank you for a wonderful night away.

It was with real sadness that I learned that my current project in Bridgenorth is coming to an end this month, ending my 1.25 year residency at the TH&GR. The realisation of these feelings is due to how much I'm going to miss the superb staff who work here. It is not just the the friendly, professional, quality service that I've been fortunate enough to experience through my time here, from Daemo and his kitchen team to the housekeeping team, but also the specific individuals who have gone above and beyond with their kind, considerate and thoughtful support that has made my stay here so enjoyable over the last 15 months. While I wont embarrass them in writing with what they've done (although I will tell them in person before I leave), I would like to acknowledge the gold star status that they've achieved. Starting with.... The ladies who make sure I'm fed and ready for the day ahead i.e. Jude, Mia, Sue, Cathy and Poppy, through to Jess, Kerry and Danni who look after my health and wellbeing when I get home from work, then onto Gracie, Ryan, Sophie, Jack, Georgia, Josh and Ella Rose who ensure that I'm always nourished and rehydrated after the gym and finally to the young ladies/spice girls on reception who take care of me from arrival to departure i.e. Izzy/Posh, Charmaine/Sporty, Cat/Ginger, Gemma/Scary, and Marta/Baby. I'm really going to miss you all and I sincerely hope that I get the chance to come back and see you again in the future. Thanks again to my fantastic team for all your effort on my behalf. Its been really appreciated.
