Travelodge Telford ★★★
"We had a accessible room which suited us fine, the bathroom was very clean the room thanks to Nicky it was a peasant stay my only gripe was there was on one chair ,where we really needed two- ,but for the price it was good ,and very close to the town centre"

"Stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration locally and so glad we did, the room was wonderfully located with beautiful views over Dale-End park and the river Severn. "Booked a room and evening meal. Check in was straightforward and receptionist was professional. Gave advice on breakfast time and where room was located. Room was spacious and thankfully not too hot. Thw bathroom had an extractor fand that kept.going about 15 mins after the light had been turned off! Bed was really comfy, not too soft and duvet was warm. Plenty of pillows :) There was 2 free bottles of water and a coffee machine with pods, I did not use this but water in a fridge was appreciated. Towels were clean and bathroom radiator was hot so towels were nice and warm. Free toiletries in the bathroom but I had taken my own so didn't use them. The lights in the hallways have motion sensors so the hallway are a bit dark when you first walk into them. The evening meal was with my work group and results varied. Most people enjoyed but personally I didn't. The soup I got was half cold and the other side of the bowl was warm. The mushroom stroganoff was lacking taste and the apple and cinnamon crumble was most cinnamon. I have eaten here before and enjoyed but was not impressed this time. It was quite busy and the staff seemed overworked as no one came to ask if we were OK or if we needed drinks and I did have to wave people over a few times. The reception area is also the bar. Its obviously a popular pub as it was crowded but maybe they should have more staff on, the same people seemed to be dealing with check in, diners and bar drinks. Just seemed a bit disorganised. The drinks here were nice and decently priced. They also do large 250ml wine, unlike a lot of places nowadays. Breakfast the next morning was great, good coffee and hot food. Check out was simple, just hand your key card back. I would stay here again but might not have the evening meal!"
Hadley Park House Hotel
"Excellent food and service We have been here many times for various events and I can highly recommend it"
Grove House Guest House
The Swan Taphouse
"It was a very disappointing experience. Our rooms were not as expected and certainly did not resemble those shown online whilst booking. The price was very low and it was obvious why. The rooms were very dark and mine was positively eerie. The beds were clean and comfortable but that was little compensation for the poor state of the place."
The Queens at Horton
Bridgeside Rooms
"If I could rate this property zero would. Maybe it's me, but when I pay £110 a night for accommodation I don't expect to have to walk 500 yards to drop of my luggage in the pouring rain. I don't expect to have to enter a code to enter the building, then enter another code to get the key to my room. And I certainly don't expect not being able to sleep because the headboard is infested with blood sucking bugs (see photos). Also be aware this is a room only property and no food is available."
Heritage View Guest House
"Heritage View B&B: A Delightful New Year's Eve Retreat Our New Year's Eve stay at Heritage View B&B was nothing short of amazing. This charming place offers breathtaking views of the iconic Iron Bridge, creating a picturesque backdrop for our visit. Jules is such a gracious host, with an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. Her warm hospitality made us feel instantly welcome, The following morning, we were treated to an outstanding breakfast, which was the perfect way to start the new year. Overall, Heritage View B&B is a truly lovely and inviting place. We're already looking forward to our next visit and can't wait to return to this hidden gem."
Carrow Cottage
Viaduct Guest House
"Perfect accommodation for our short stay in Ironbridge. The Viaduct Guesthouse is an absolute stunning place .Our room was spotlessly clean, with plenty of storage and comfy bed, with a choice of pillows!! The decor is modern but very cosy.Definitely felt like they’d put a lot effort into the feel of the place. Our breakfast was delicious with a choice of cereals or full English, compliments to the chef! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming from booking and throughout our brief stay they were first class in every respect. I would not hesitate to recommend this guest house…10 out of 10. Superb !!"
The Barn the Elms
The Ironworks Aparthotel
"Dan was absolutely amazing and easy to get hold of during my stay, I had a problem with my room and he kindly upgraded me really quickly, the staff onsite was brilliant and overall I had a great time."
