Goed hotel met verzorgd ontbijt. Ruime kamer. Goed bereikbaar en net buiten centrum van Cochem. Goede uitvalsbasis voor Moselsteig. Makkelijk parkeren. Eigenaar niet echt geïnteresseerd. Vraag naar ervaring van hotel is toch het minste…

Beautiful breakfast room, adequate breakfast options, excellent coffee...Great price! All hotels areas...hallways, entry, room, bathrooms...all very clean and aesthetically pleasing and comfortable! Our mattresses were a bit soft/saggy, but that is a personal preference. Hotel staff, very friendly, accomodating and made us feel at home and welcome. On the Mosel River, the castle can be seen off in the distance.

Im Rahmen unseres Moseltrips hatten wir dieses Hotel ausgesucht. Das Zimmer ist nicht übermäßig groß gewesen, aber für ein paar Tage ok. Es wurde vor ein paar Jahren renoviert. Der Gastgeber und seine Frau geben sich redlich Mühe die Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Klasse. Das Frühstück ist sehr empfehlenswert und reichhaltig. Auch ich muss die selbstgemachte, sehr leckere Marmelade erwähnen. Man sollte wissen, dass dieses Hotel direkt am Kreisverkehr liegt. Unseren Schlaf hat dies jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt. Der Blick auf die Mosel und die Burg hat schon was. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Gehminuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Hotel,Preis /Leistung top und essen sehr lecker. Guter Wein aus der Nachbarschaft. Freundliches Personal und sehr sauber. Im Sommer ist Biergarten geöffnet und lädt zum gemütlichen Sitzen ein. Jederzeit wieder und empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Hotel Stumbergers had everything we needed for our two night stay. Off street parking, a comfortable bed, a good shower, and a great location. The hotel is a 15 minute walk along the river to Cochem in a quiet neighborhood. The walk was a nice way to wind down and leave the activity of the city behind. The hotel did have both an interior restaurant and a patio cafe, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy a meal or drink there although they were both very inviting. Our room was on the third floor with views to the river (no balcony). I enjoyed looking out to watch the cruise ships and a pair of swans. I could also see the castle in Cochem, although I needed to look hard to the left to do so.

Hotel Stumbergers was a simple and welcoming hotel. It is situated just outside the beautiful Mosel town of Cochem, within easy walking distance, but still allowing benefits like safe free parking. The owners were very helpful pointing out all of the amenities, recommending a local wine festival (which was great), and operating a nice beer garden too. Room was modern and no-frills but entirely sufficient for an overnight stay, the shower was very powerful. Breakfast was continental, and had plenty of choice with the offer of fresh eggs and coffee on demand! A fine place to spend the night exploring Cochem.

Prima hotel. Prima ontbijt. Prima locatie. Prima personeel. Niet in het hart van het centrum maar nét erbuiten. Wat prima te lopen was overigens. Het is een fantastische omgeving dus dat was geen probleem. Wat ook heel fijn was is dat de auto bij het hotel gratis geparkeerd kon worden. Gezellig terras (Biergarten) waar de bratwurst goed te eten was. Ontbijt was ook goed verzorgd. De vriendelijke eigenaar maakt graag een eitje voor je klaar. Bij de jammetjes miste ik wel aardbeienjam. (Ik ben een zoetekauw) Kamer was niet spectaculair, maar het bed was prima, beddengoed was schoon en fris, badkamer was prima en de kamer had een gezellig klein balkonnetje. Minpuntje was dat er geen airco op de kamer was. Dit was een groot gemis in de warme dagen dat wij er waren. Dit zou een enorme upgrade zijn als dit hotel wordt voorzien van moderne airco units. Verder zeer tevreden en ik kan dit zeker aanraden. 8/10 sterren.
