En una playa hermosa de Costa Rica frente al mar se encuentra este hotel, completisimo, dos piscinas bar en la piscina, solarium, buen restaurant con precios acordes, desayuno buffet completo, excelente atención, habitacion amplia tipo cabaña con aire acondicionado y ventilador.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay here. Our room on the first floor of the newer block was spacious, clean and modern. We enjoyed the pool bar and the food there was very good. We had the fish and chips. There’s a resident sloth. Definitely recommend this place. The staff, as in most of the places we’ve stayed throughout Costa Rica are friendly, helpful and truly complement this beautiful country. Pura Vida amigos.

The setting is incredible, you are in the heart of the rain forest, with so much wildlife around you. We saw several sloth's, toucan's, monkeys and humming birds, whilst sitting by the pool.
We rented bicycles and rode to town several times, which was an easy ride. Plenty of restaurants in the area to eat at, but the hotel had several options also, which were all delicious.
The staff were great, multi lingual, and very helpful. Rooms were clean and well sized. Rooms were cleaned and restocked daily.
The only issue was the Internet wasn't the greatest, but fine for messaging and keeping in contact.
It was a fantastic experience, and I fully recommend this peaceful and beautiful resort.

This is a great location, with good facilities. The restaurant serves tasty food all afternoon and into the evening. We had a superior room and it was comfortable and felt wrapped in jungle. The doors have screens for ventilation which is great for waking up to the sound of birds but less good when it's noisy neighbours on their balcony or the awful disco music around the pool on the Friday evening. shower worked but needs an upgrade. but generally we liked it and loved walking to the beach and around the grounds which are luxuriant and have a resident sloth, lots of birds and agoutis

Great hotel located just yards from the beach. The hotel in surrounded by lush jungle and you’ll be able to spot the odd sloth or monkey from your sun lounger. The main pool has a swim up bar with happy hour from 11am - 6pm although only on certain drinks so be careful. The staff are really friendly and a big shout out to Dorothy for being super lovely and encouraging me with my Spanish! The rooms are really quiet and comfortable with a good size bathroom. Air con and a fan in the room. There are water dispensers around the complex to refill your water bottles too. I would highly recommend eating at La Jungla restaurant in house, the food is absolutely delicious and top quality. The cajan tuna was like a dance party on my tongue, simply sublime. Puerto Viejo itself seems like a vibrant place to be and appears to be popular for yoga retreats and surfing. The beach whilst only a short walk away may not be best for those looking for a relaxing place to swim, the currents are strong so it’s better suited to surfing. There are lifeguards and a flag system in place though. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Muy buen lugar, excelente atención del personal. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas. Tener el bar en la pileta al atardecer es lo mejor. En especial agradecer la amabilidad del encargado del desayuno: SUPER AMABLE Y DISPUESTO A RESPONDER CONSULTAS, ADEMAS NOS DIO DATOS DE GUIA TURISTICO.

Awful . We had a superior room ! Nothing was superior. Dirty in need of renovation, basic, shower a trickle. Staff rude and disinterested. Took half an hour to get a drink at Pool Bar.. poor selection at breakfast. I would stay well clear of this hotel.
