Service poor behind the bar and a bit slow at times
Over priced considering no table service for drinks or cocktails as had to wait at bar for drinks
Staff seemed a little over whelmed and stressed by the amount of people
Food in restaurant was average and a bit overpriced.
Breakfast was delicious and had a great range on offer ,staff were pleasant and helpful .
Reception staff were exceptional on the Saturday and Sunday checking out.
A very nice resort but the standard has gone down since last being there almost 12 months ago .

Not too happy with TV channels available but otherwise no complaints. We had issues with our heating which staff were very quick to try to rectify. We will definitely return again!

Annuka is great! This stay was a returrn trip where we had our honeymoon back in 1988. It is as beautiful now as it was then.

Was told upon booking the Free Breakfast required my having to sign up to Accor which I did. Next morning I was told that the Manager had decided there would be no free breakfast with no reason given but I assumed it was because it was a Public Holiday. I was then told I could have it next day, but I was leaving that day. For two people to have the now NON-FREE breakfast it was going to cost over $60 total. Needless to say I left and will never stay at Aakuna again and may even cancel my Accord membership.

This property is awsome but requires some serious renovations and upgrades. Our room was old and run down, curtains where falling apart and the kitchen was peeling in sections.
The hot water system was not working properly either to hot or too cold you keep getting shocked in the changes in water temperature. Seating areas around the pool where dirty and needed a major sweep and clean up. No umbrellas around the pool. The pool needs a major paint job and pieces of rock falling off around the pool. The choice of food at the restaurant is old and nothing has changed since we where there 3 years ago. This place has soo much potential.
Otherwise it is amazing for kids and it makes you feel like you are on a Islands some where because of its lay out and tropical nature.

The restaurant was appalling. Overcrowded and under resourced. We only attempted to eat there once, and then went elsewhere for the rest of our stay, and had breakfast in our room with supplies sourced from town. A great pity because the resort is otherwise good and in a great location.

I was supposed to stay for 2 nights on a business trip. When I went to my room I had no phone or internet. I approached reception where I was advised that alot of the rooms have this issue. One of the lovely staff knew of a room she thought would have internet and moved me. Unfortunately what internet it had kept dropping out and I was unable to complete my work. I left the next day and requested a refund for the second night as my room when booking said high speed internet. A week later and there’s been no response to my emails. I will not recommend staying here. How families with children manage I have no idea.

It is a beautiful spot on the beach quiet and tropical would be great for children Rooms spacious with verandas and a bath Adequate breakfast Lovely warm shower Car park a short walk from rooms but luggage trolleys provided I didn’t use restaurant for evening meal
