Pacific Marina Apartments
"The main environmental problem is that it's next to a railway, and trains pass by in the middle of the night, which is very noisy."
Royal Palms Motor Inn
"Excellent location, delightful staff and best value for money"
Sapphire Beach Holiday Park
"The caravan park is located in a beautiful spot just a two minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen on my travels along the coast. When I called to finalise my booking the gentleman I spoke to was nice and put me in a spot close to the toilet block which is appreciated being a solo female traveller. The park wasn’t to bad, they had a games room, basketball court, the pool looked really nice and there was a mini golf which I believe you have to pay for which I think is a bit rich when your paying to stay at the park. I arrived late at night after a six hour drive. I managed to find my site no problem. Then I went to the bathroom and needed a code to get in. You get a A5 sheet with codes and wifi details and a rules page on the back of the map. I read the rules but didn’t notice in the top corner the code for the toilets as I was to busy reading the rules. Being so late at night because I didn’t see the code or expect it to be on the rules page I couldn’t get into the toilet block at all. I couldn’t have a shower and I couldn’t use the toilet. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to go to the toilet on the grass, extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. The number I called on the A5 slip advises to call anytime so I did and no answer. I had to leave a message and I advised of my disappointment. Can I make a suggestion that you put the toilets code on the A5 slip with all the other codes and wifi password, that would make more sense and be more visible for guests to see. I advised Reception in the morning and there was two gentleman there. One of them looked at me like I was an ***** pointing out to me where it was. I then advised that when I went to the bathroom in the morning I managed to get in because the cleaning lady was there. That’s my next disappointment. The cleaner was playing 9-5 by Dolly Parton full blast in the toilet and after just waking up it completely rattled me plus I’m on holidays and I’m not working 9-5! She was running around like she was on something and it was overbearing first thing in the morning. I advised reception just to make them aware and maybe say something to her. I got an extremely arrogant response from one of the guys that “I should have told her to turn it down”. No as a paying guest I should not have to do that, I’m not her boss and it is your job to tell your cleaner to tone it down for the comfortability of your guests. The response made me very upset as I don’t like conflict. The other guy did say he will talk to her. That’s all that should have been said in the first place. The way the first guy spoke to me was a shock and I am basing my 3 stars on his terrible customer service."
Aquajet Motel
"Very satisfied and comfortable"
The Observatory Self Contained Apartments
"Our upper floor room while being a bit old was quite functional and had everything that we needed for a two night stay. Lovely and friendly lady at reception Supermarket, Patisserie and bakery only a couple of minutes walk away. Patiserie is great for coffee and French style cakes. Only problems were the four flights of stairs, in a dull stair well, up to our apartment and the fact that the accommodation looks across to the local goods railway line with trains running throughout the night. Poor sleep quality and the local school is very close meaning chaos at school times."
Best Western Parkside Motor Inn
"Great Motel we had the family room with the 4 beds Good location with a easy drive to the Jetty and Woolworths. Clean - friendly check in - easy access for parking and onto the highway. A few gardens with the nice flowering plants and outdoor seating area. Pool looked clean also."
Rosebourne Gardens Motel
"Small rooms"
Nrma Darlington Beach Holiday Resort
"Despite being on an adventure with my son all around Australia, I rarely write a review. However, I had to make an exception for the team at Darlington. Whilst the facilities, grounds and activities on offer are all first class, it is the customer service that sets Darlington apart from every place I’ve ever visited in the last 50 years. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional - words like, ‘friendly’’, ‘thorough’ and ‘expert’ just do not do the team justice as they went above and beyond to make my son and I feel welcome. We extended our stay from two to eight nights and my son even asked if we could forego the rest of our adventure to stay here! Given our stay coincided with the arrival of Cyclone Alfred, the staff really demonstrated that during times of adversity, true leadership and quality of character stand up. While not wanting to diminish the efforts of all, a special thanks must go to Jasmine, Jeremy, Josie and the ladies at reception for being the very epitome of all of the above. A final thanks to Nick, whose inspiring leadership at Darlington is obvious for all to see and a significant reason the resort has such a great culture. He even makes a great coffee at 4am! All genuine people that have gone a great way to restoring my faith in humanity. Thanks Team Darlo Jason and Xavier"
Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"We just had a great holiday at Wyndham Estate in Coffs Harbour From start to finish, the staff made our stay comfortable and fun. They were always smiling, ready to help. Our room was just what we needed: enough for the whole family without feeling too tight. Kids loved the pools and other young families visited at the same time which made the kids even happier. What's great about Coff is and Wyndham is how close it is to everything you want to see in Coffs Harbour. We had an easy time getting around. Checking out was as easy as checking in. The whole experience felt more like staying with friends than just being in a hotel. Anyone planning a trip to Coffs Harbour should think about staying here. the boys had a hit of golf in the next door hotel. The beach and walks around were great, our boys love it. "
Comfort Inn Premier
"Everything ok. Place for parking, close to a big mall with restaurant and supermarkets."
Friday Creek Retreat
"Great accommodation on a hinterland farm. Very private separate holiday villas 7 in total but separated so you really have to go looking for your neighbours. Some are 2 bedrooms and some are pet friendly. Hosts are very helpful and arrived to a nice warm villa with air conditioning on. Bags of character with open fires and spa baths and reasonable rates."
Country Comfort Coffs Harbour
"Clean and tidy, comfortable stay."
CBD Motor Inn
"Too noisy at night."
