One of the few hotels with a great location, just near the station. The toilets and rooms are very clean. The only drawback is that there will be singing in the bar downstairs on Fridays, which will be noisy until 11 o'clock. There is also no air conditioning in the room, but this is not necessary given the temperature in Australia.

Outstanding friendly and helpful service, modern and fresh in a look in a historical context, brilliant, nostalgic. Good food in the bistro, great location close to the train station, easy to find for travellers who want to get away from the night time B-doubles using the highway. As close as you can get to the jetty, close to the marina and Mutton Bird Island, Coffs Creek, Park beach, Gallows beach in easy walking reach. Well worth staying more than one night if your schedule allows.
The shared bathroom is a touch of authenticity and should not discourage staying there, it’s a corner pub. I will return for more than one night.

The property was easy to find and was in distance of everything. I had never been to Coffs Harbour before so knowing how to get to and from the hotel was a relief knowing we wouldn’t get lost. I also like the close proximity to the beach, we didn’t have far to walk.

Terrible noisy place, ridiculous to not have air conditioning in accommodation, can’t say it’s something I look for in a hotel as I’ve never been in a hotel without air conditioning, the ceiling fan didn’t work well and the windows didn’t even have flyscreens so your options are have them open and get eaten alive by bugs or be terribly hot all night. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

The Pier Hotel was an easy walk from the railway station and located right next to the Jetty restaurant area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet; the staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom amenities just across the hall were clean and spacious - and there the pub downstairs was also a good place to relax after a day in Coffs. Will definitely stay here next visit.

Dissapointing to find out after the fact that the rooms were not air conditioned on one of the warmest, humid nights Ive experienced in a long time. In order to make sure I had a good night's sleep I changed hotels at my own expense.

Lovely location, short level walk to the harbour and beach. Nice staff. We stayed in the queen ensuite room. Bed very comfortable, tea making facilities in room. Also there's a fridge in the room. Lots of nearby restaurants too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
