The hotel, stay, was good for 1 night and business trip. Longer stay? Depending on purpose. Reception and breakfast was nice and good. Location of the hotel; good, walking distance from restaurants. Beds; good Bathroom and facilities; good Personal attention and Reception: fair to good. Swiming pool +/-

Location abd parking garage was great. The mattresses were old and you could feel the springs. The showere door was useless. T h e shower wand sprayed wayer all over the floor.

Os quartos necessitam de renovação. Estão antiquados e com alcatifa no chão o que faz o cheiro a humidade ser abundante. O staff muito prestável em resolver qualquer questão. Ponto negativo: a piscina interior só pode ser utilizada 45 minutos por dia o que não nos é referido na reserva e com crianças torna impossível voltar a este hotel. Ao apresentar a reclamação sobre este facto o diretor de turno e o gerente foram incansáveis e super prestáveis mas referem que infelizmente são as regras do hotel/do grupo. Garagem muito difícil de circular mas com 4 ou 5 postos de carregamento de veículos eléctricos o que é uma enorme mais-valia

falta de conforto básico na suite -nunca mais. No quarto (suite) - a porta da casa de banho, de correr, não chega uns 2cms até a parede, deixando sempre uma abertura. Eramos 4 pessoas e não podiamos fechar a porta. A manutenção veio para ver e disse que não era simples de corrigir, nada feito. - a cama de casal com um protetor do colchão de plástico de pessima qualidade. Sensação de dormir encima de um saco de plástico, a soar e a acordar com barulho do plastico. Removido após reclamação. - um dos aparelhos do ar condicionado sem aquecimento a funcionar, a manutenção veio para ver, comentou que não sabiamos ligar modo de aquecimento, saiu, continuou sem funcionar. No hotel: Tem que se marcar turnos para jantar, para piscina são slots de 45 minutos e no final pedem para sairem todos da piscina. Entretanto as pessoas do próximo slot não podem entrar na piscina e aguardam em pé na recepção. O hotel fica numa rua escura nas trazeiras da linha do comboio, sem pessoas, comercio.

Like the indoor swimming pools, breakfast buffet, location is close to bus station. Friendly staffs. Hope they have ice machine for the drinks.

We started on the wrong foot with a front desk rep named Vanessa, a lot of attituded, really not friendly and left us with a bad taste afterwards.
Our room smelled like someone smoked in it, so we went back to the front desk and were lucky to find Sarah, who was a complete 180° from Vanessa. Amazing attention, friendliness and service.
Second room AC was not working really well, so back we went and waited until Sarah was available. She again was amazing, went with us to the room to check the AC to make sure it wasn't something simple. As it really was the unit, she went down to work her magic. She came back a few minutes later with another amazing staff, Leonor, who I later found out is the assistant manager. They showed us another room that was cooler and let us decide if we wanted to move rooms once again, we did.
That really showed us that we were cared for and we felt great. Leonor actually went the extra mile and sent us a surprise desert and wine to enjoy.
All this to show that problems can happen anywhere at anytime, but what really speaks volumes is the way they are dealt with. Congratulations Vila Gale for having people like Leonor and Sarah. We would definitely stay with you again!

The hotel appearance was impressive, front desk staff very nice, and the grounds were beautiful....and then it all changed when we went to our rooms, dirty and stained carpets, the bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on in a hotel and to ask for a full/queen and be assigned 2 twin beds stuck together was NO OKAY.
The rooms were very disappointing
