"The worst booking ever, a rare disappointment in Ctrip’s service in more than ten years! It's on the attic floor, and there's no elevator in the apartment! The stairs are extremely narrow! Climb six flights of steep stairs! There was no way to get the luggage to the room. Not suitable for middle-aged and elderly people! Not suitable for people who drive! The service staff has a bad attitude! Blatantly provoking Ctrip’s booking! After booking, I couldn’t contact anyone at all! No one cares about the apartment at all! It is strongly recommended that Ctrip platform cancel such apartment reservations! ! ! The price of 1,000 yuan per day is to buy yourself some comfort. You don’t want to go back to the hotel and climb the stairs every day when you go out. Finally, put your luggage in the trunk and check in with only toiletries. It's a long walk from the parking lot back to the apartment. It took more than 3 hours to check in after arriving at this place! Extremely disappointed!"

"I give two stars for this hotel, being one for location, and the other, for the staff in general, but especially for the waiter and waitress at the breakfast room. Also for the maintenance person. Check in so slow on Sunday, Oct 8th. Spacious room, poor lighting, good mattress but terrible pillows. There are like balls inside them, so I had to sleep on folded towels as a pillow. The bathroom was a joke. Just arriving and there was water around the toilet, the toilet shower was sinking, no need of that anyway. Next morning was like an odyssey to take the shower - the hand shower wouldn´t get fixed in a position, while the head shower was leaking cold water. I had to wrap a sanitary bag around the column to be able to shower. Automatic lights that didn´t turn off when you left the room; a socket that had no electricity, all this fixed by the poor technician. Apart from this person, and the breakfast room, I got a room at the back with no noise. Unless they do something to this hotel, I will not return to it, although I will return to Coimbra."

"The staff were very helpful and the cafe / restaurant a real asset. The location is also terrific as is the bus stop just outside the camp which will whisk you in to the centre of Coimbra within 20mins. However, the whole site looks and feels rather neglected: old caravans going green with what looks like neglect, soggy pitches with little apparent attempt to make them better for parking on ( notwithstanding the unusually wet conditions experienced this winter), poor signage, forelorn and dated toilet and showering blocks..... A little bit of love and attention and this could be a 5* site. As it is now, a 3* is generous."
