Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel service very good and clean. Lovely stayed. The receptionist at the arrival date was very kind, friendly and helpful. she resolved my issue quick with kindness. Very helpful 6 stars for her. Bar staff during evening and morning are very nice. My husband and I will come back definitely.

My husband had his 60th birthday party at this hotel, Michelle and her staff do everything for us and made my husband's 60th amazing, our friends and family said the foods are outstanding and the waiting staff took our drinks order and brought the drinks to our tables it's brilliant, all the staff was lovely. Spacious car park, only few minutes drive from A12, bus route and under 7 minutes drive to Marks Tey train station. Definitely will use Marks Tey Hotel for any type of events. Highly recommend.

Avoid at all costs Hotel is dated and being renovated The restaurant refused to do food even though there was 25 minutes left before the kitchen closed Room is ok but miles away from reception Pillows are cheap and hard The only good thing was the Tesla supercharger

Awful experience, checked out and left early as so disappointed. The hotel is a building site and should of been closed to properly renovate , instead greedy owners with no regard for guests, deception at its highest. NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!!! Half the hotel is a building site , have to walk through an active building site TO.GET.ANYWHERE.IN THE.HOTEL. Utterly disappointed with our stay and left . BTW the food is awful and sat in, what I would describe as a workman's cafe bit near the bar.

Although we were told that there would be works going on and that there would be Afghan refugees, these issues were not interfering with our stay. Staff vey pleasant and helpful
