V8 Hotel Koln at Motorworld

Very nice hotel Friendly receptionist. Lots of details in the hotel. The shower was the very best. With side beams.

Es war ganz ok, doch für ein 4 Sterne Hotel war da definitv Luft nach oben. Ziemlich viel Staub im Zimmer, Bar in der Hotel zu früh geschlossen und in der Umgebung keine anderen Möglichkeiten.

Since I'm often in Cologne for work, I always try to stay at the V8. And it worked this time too. To my surprise, I got a garage room as an upgrade and I was very happy about it. The hotel offers me everything I need for my mostly short stays. Very friendly staff, the opportunity to eat delicious food, rooms are exactly to my taste and I have a short walk to my workplace. Of course, the ambience is very important and here everything fits together perfectly.

The V8 Hotel is a hit in every way! The reception was super friendly and helpful. The whole concept was very well thought out and designed. We had a themed room - it was just like in the pictures and just great. Very clean and beautifully designed. It was an experience just to stay in a room like that. The car exhibition was amazing + the Michael Schumacher exhibition. A dream for everyone who loves cars but also a great experience for those who aren't crazy about cars :O). The breakfast buffet was very good. There was plenty of everything and the staff were very friendly. There are various options for eating out in the attached restaurant. We were in the Ahoi and it was delicious. The hotel is attached to the restaurants and the exhibition. You walk past the restaurant from the exhibition etc. It's very practical as you don't have to leave the building. It's very easy to get there - just get off the motorway and you're there in no time. The hotel is in a mixed area of ​​apar**ents and Ikea etc. Quiet location and good connections to Cologne city centre (20 minutes by tram). We are very satisfied all round and will be back. Staying overnight in the V8 was a chance encounter that was worth it. I experienced a hotel with a lot of love for cars and details. Directly connected to the Cologne Motorworld, the V8 is a modern hotel with clean rooms and friendly, uncomplicated staff. The great, extensive breakfast buffet is available in the Latino restaurant. Some rooms are equipped with "car beds". An engine noise starts in the elevator when it starts moving. It's a lot of fun - but you have to like cars. Not for climate control glue 😉

Nice, practical hotel. If you're a car or motorsport fan, it's great! There are great cars and motorbikes everywhere. For dinner, make sure you go to Abacco's Steakhouse. Excellent meat. I'd be happy to go back to both anytime.
