Good: Very friendly staff, clean, walking distance to bahnhof and shops etc. Breakfast not too expensive, healthy and sustainable.
Room for improvement: small rooms with no fridge. Unable to connect tv with streaming service.

Staff are brilliant. Could not fault them! Great atmosphere in the bar, great location. Facilities are basic but ok. Had a great nights sleep despite our room being right next to the lifts. Only thing I would change is that the hand soap and shower gel in our room were half full which gave the impression that someone else had used them.

Wir waren für 3 Tage in Köln. Das Hotel war modern und die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber. Nette Mitarbeiter und der nette Herr an der Rezeption war super klasse. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ein Minus Punkt aber jedoch für das Frühstück. Es war ok aber uns hat leider ein bisschen was gefehlt wie Eierpeisen(Rührei oder Omlett). Leider kein Tomate Mozzarella. Laktosefrei Milch war vorhanden aber leider keinen laktosefreien Joghurt. Parkhaus direkt unten aber 22,50€ pro Tag mit Rabatt vom Hotel.

Had a terrible nights sleep. Awoken very early by delivery men. I didn't realise but our room on the 1st floor was over a the street that services the shops. Deliveries, bin collections.
Breakfast was a free-for-all. The hotel put up a sign advising tof the busiest times, but I wasn't expecting the chaos of breakfast time.

Vor 5 jahren super Erfahrung gemacht - inzwischen scheint sowohl der Room-Service - als auch der Zustand der Zimmer deutlich schlechter geworden zu sein. Im neu bezogenen Zimmer braune Spuren auf der Brille, nach dem Zimmerservice einige Tage später ein Popel auf dem "frischen" Handtuch. Reichlich Schleifspuren an den Wänden, ein sehr, sehr langsamer Fernseher. Ziemlich teures Parken. Frühstück war super, tolle Bar, tolle Lage. Aber hygenisch sehr mau. Habe beide Mängel an der Rezeption gemeldet, Entschuldigung - das war's.

La catena Motel One a me non dispiace. La qualità è decisamente elevata e standard dappertutto. Il Motel One di Colonia non fa eccezione anzi è uno dei migliori. Tra l'altro è anche abbastanza vicino al centro della città, che si raggiunge con una bella passeggiata. Zone comuni molto belle, ho dormito in una bella camera, basica ma pulita e con tutto quello che serve. Letto comodo, buona insonorizzazione, climatizzazione ok. Abbondanza di prese elettriche per ricaricare i vari device. Bagno pulito e moderno. Mi sono trovato bene. Tornerò.
