Wunderbares Hotel, besondere Location, dazu gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof und direkt gegenüber der Arena. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Personal ist excellent, sehr nett und freundlich und hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gerne.

Das Hotel war recht gut, ich hätte bei diesem historischen Gebäude auch ein, dem Gebäude entsprechendes, Zimmer erwartet. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ein bessere Bewertung verhindert aber das Frühstück. Der Jugendstilraum, das alte Schwimmbad, war lieblos eingerichtet und für den Preis war das Angebot sehr dürftig. Auch hier hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Schade, es gibt noch viel Luft nach oben.

Wir hatten das Stadtpalais für eine Übernachtung aufgrund einer Veranstaltung gebucht. Sowohl der Check-in als auch der Aufenthalt war perfekt. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Lanxess Arena und durch die sehr gute Isolierung drang keinerlei Verkehrslärm nach innen. Das Zimmer war sehr elegant und das Bad perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders das Frühstück im "alten Pool" war von der Atmosphäre. Wir besuchten auch die Bar des Hotels nach der Veranstaltung und auch dort war der Service perfekt. Vielen Dank an die Mitarbeiter des Hotels, welche uns einen so schönen und luxuriösen Aufenthalt ermöglichten.

Unique, large, modern, gorgeous room! Underground subway nearby could be heard from the room regularly. Hotel neglected to prepare room for 4 guests but quickly remedied the situation with excellent service and a free bottle of wine.
