Really nice friendly and helpful staff. Great room overlooking square and could see cathedral. Handy location a short walk into centre of Cologne.

Zimmer Top , Modern und Sauber, Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü mit gebucht, Kölschtapas,Jägerschnitzel und Apfelstrudel mit Eis es war alles reichlich und lecker. Wir waren mit 9 Personen und alle waren sehr zufrieden.

What they don't tell you is that this hotel has its own function venue, taking up much of the ground, 1st and 2nd floors. The two nights we there, they hosted insanely loud parties until 2am - so loud our bed was literally vibrating! It was very challenging to sleep (despite the ear plugs they provide), there was little by way of apology the next morning except that "they have a very busy December".
The rooms themselves are okay, and the location is great - but next time we are in Cologne we will try a hotel that we can actually sleep in

Perfect location right on the Heumarkt. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean. Delicious breakfast. The Gürzenich, where we went to a carnival event, is 5 minutes away. Ideal and we would gladly go back.
