When we are in Cologne, we choose the ameron hotel. It is close to the center, with good public transport links. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is delicious and varied. You can go for a walk in the nearby Melaten Cemetery. At the moment, the Banksy exhibition is within walking distance.

It was very clean and spacious, which was better than the price. However, the location is a bit difficult as you have to transfer trams from Köln hbf, so if you don't mind that, I highly recommend it.

A very business hotel with large rooms, good settings and cheap prices. The restaurant tastes good, parking is free, but the front desk service number is not good. I paid and the full amount was charged, and Ctrip later stepped in to resolve the issue.

Very nice hotel just outside the city center, but conveniently connected to the tram. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and the breakfast room was spacious. A coffee machine was even filled with oat milk. Again any time.

We spent a weekend in Cologne, our room was perfect, stylish and spacious with everything we needed, breakfast was excellent and very good quality! Staff friendly and competent, we will definitely be back!

We kept extending the hotel room because our house was currently being renovated and we didn't know exactly when we could go home again.
 Our room wasn't really cleaned and only the bed was made because we asked for it and towels were put in. I cleaned the room myself by dusting and cleaning the toilets. It wasn't really mopped or vacuumed, there was dirt and dust on the floor for a week, even though we had a right to get a different room every time because we had a new booking every time. It wasn't even offered to us or asked until I brought it up and they didn't even really know how to react to it. I come from the hotel industry myself and this is a disgrace, really a huge disgrace. I also took photos and showed them to the reception and the receptionist said that was also terrible. So  it's not worth a four star hotel
