That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay. One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.

I love this hotel I started my Sri Lanka trip here and rebooked on my return to Colombo. Great hotel, great prices, super clean, comfy bed, wonderful food, amazing pool and great staff hopefully I get to go back one day!!😀

The Villa in Lavinia is in a beautiful old building. From the road doesn't look so great but inside is very nice. The owner Tyrone made us feel very welcome and all the staff were kind and friendly. The hotel is convenient for getting into Colombo. Many nearby buses go there. Also a nearby supermarket and several good restaurants. The part of the beach near to the hotel is not so nice but is better if you walk further down towards the big and famous Hotel Mount Lavinia. We stayed 5 nights but the hotel and the area is probably better suited to shorter stays. Room simple but adequate. Very good internet connexion. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Hotel was safe, clean and comfortable. The travel desk staff, led by Mr Bathiya, were really helpful and friendly. We customised travel around Sri Lanka and back to Colombo- the process was very clear, prices were reasonable, and it made for a great holiday. The neighbourhood gets quite busy at night and the hotel soundproofing isn't great, and the breakfast is pretty basic. Everything else is good

Where can I begin to start about this hotel? From the minute we walked through the door you would think you were in a 5* hotel with the level of service you receive. The room was modern and beds extremely comfortable. There were a few bits of damage but nothing we couldn't see past. The only gripe I had with the room is that because the Make up room/ Do not disturb LED light is beside the bed this lights up blue on a night and can be bothersome. A fantastic mention for our housekeeper Gihan keeping us well stocked in towels and everything tidy. The pool is well maintained and pool towels are of a very good quality. We looked in the gym and contrary to a previous review the air con works. Bar service and the range of drinks are excellent, as is the Cafe on the ground floor which has excellent cakes and is very reasonably priced. Infact we couldn't believe it. This property is gorgeous with the old world charm and the food and cocktails are amazing too . But above all, they ace in hospitality. The staff , right from GM to everyone else are so warm, courteous and helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.I had a ligament tear in my ankle while in Srilanka and be it GM Mr. Siddique , Mr. Emmanuel, the bell boy Mr. Sujith, and the rest of the staff , they were all so supportive and caring that I was totally moved by the way they took care of me. Strongly recommend this place with its beautiful people to all and I will surely be staying here again when I visit Srilanka

I've literally booked hundreds of room through Agoda. This will change. I arrived late after traveling all day to find there's been a discrepancy between Agoda and this hotel about payment. The wonderful front desk staff member named Malinda(not sure about the spelling) Told me he could see I had paid Agoda back in September, which I had. Because of some issue behind the scenes the gutless Zest managers who hide behind phones, decided to not honor my booking without contacting me. 10.30pm, raining, I'd been traveling and waiting at airports for 14 hours to be told I don't have a room. These cowardly managers wouldn't even talk to me on the phone. The hotel plus their sister hotel next door were fully booked. I'm 65 with many medical issues. I had traveled with medication which needed refrigeration or ice. This nearly being spoilt because it took 3 hours for Agoda to resolve the mistake. I eventually got to a different hotel around 1.45am. Malinda had to deal with my anger and frustrations for all that time with no help from his pathic managers. He did everything in his power to assist me and he did help showing empathy the entire time. Now imagine arriving and the pathetic hotel management canceled your booking without notifying you, a paid booking. Then that gutless management made their staff member have to deal with the upset customer. Just dreadful Zest Hotel Management. Malinda is too good a staff member to work for this horrible company. His talents should be recognized elsewhere. Never again Zest.

In the downtown area, it's quite chaotic. Downstairs is a place to eat crabs, and there are many restaurants. If you don't eat Michelin, it's easy to eat at other restaurants. There are two well-known local national treasure essential oil brands nearby for convenient shopping. The service is pretty good. The hotel is quite old and the room has a strong smell of humidity. Overall, it's okay. The price is relatively cheap in the capital. I thought it wouldn't be a good stay at this price. The overall feeling is okay, but the disposable items are a bit rough. Fortunately, I brought them all. The bathroom is a bit dim and hot. There is still plenty of water. There is an infinity swimming pool on the roof to enjoy the night view🌃. There is a sports ground nearby, which is very lively. There is a big fruit stall on the corner of the main road at the door, which is very interesting! Don't go
