Landmar Costa Los Gigantes

This hotel is great for families with kids, we had a landi suite and it was big with sofa beds, the sofa beds weren't that comfortable master bedroom was very comfortable, and had a TV in each bedroom, there also was a great sea view from the balcony. All inclusive is totally worth the money we got it and it was so much better the kids love it they feel like they can go out any time and get what ever they want. Kids have there own separate section for food such as pasta, ice cream, chicken, Nutella and jam sandwiches and on some days they have battered veggies like broccoli, hake and chicken etc. The food is exquisite, breakfast is pastries, pancakes with toppings, coffee, juice, eggs, cereal, yogurt and salads For lunch they have chicken, pasta, pizza and salad with dessert such as mini cakes and ice cream. Dinner is one of the best times of the day, it really depends on the day but the chefs are really creative on foods and knows what a child would like for dinner. They have salad, chicken on a stick, bao buns, chicken tacos, curry and a great selection of desserts (ice cream, cakes, pastries etc.) for dinner If you are hungry in between meals there are 2 snack bars with pizza, pasta, burgers, fries, salad, onion rings, chicken croquettes and sandwiches. The staff are really nice if you ask for anything they will try there very best to get it for you. Landi is the mascot for the hotel he is a turtle, he is comes out to take pictures sometimes, he comes out to sing his song at the mini disco at 7:15/ 7:30 and 8:30 PM The pool is nice it has a big bar with alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic there are many pools around the hotel close to everything, there is a big waterslide for kids. The entertainment is great they are nice and funny they speak many languages and have great activities.

A lovely hotel ruined, It is now an amusement arcade play machines every where, The hotel gets money from these machines, Food always cold, also the bar area is awful chairs you cant sit on and tiny tables you cant put your drink on The only good thing is the big swimming pools. We will not be back

This is by far one of the best hotels we have been to as a family. There is something for everyone and the kids have not stopped raving about it since we got home. We had a landi family suite with sea view which was spectacular. The staff had put an extra bed in the living area at our request and the main bedroom was huge with plenty of storage. A few steps and we were by reception with a huge bar and seating area where we spent many an hour with a drink watching the sun go down and playing games whilst the kids played and made new friends. The arcade was a big hit with the children in the evening and a great place they could go and meet new friends whilst knowing g they were safe and being able to keep an eye on them The pools were great one quiet with a no inflatables rule, and the other was an activity pool and then one with a water slide. The food was great and kids loved the food truck for a mid afternoon snack. The restaurants are huge but never felt too crowded. Food some of the best AI we have had. We also tried the grill and Italian which were nice for a change. Kids loved the football, crazy golf, tennis and high ropes all of which were included in the price. (When you look what the likes of centre parcs charge for similar this really is fantastic value) We enjoyed this place so much we have booked again for summer. Thanks so much for making our stay so special.

We are currently in this hotel and are just about to leave and want to say what a fantastic time we have had. The animation team are the best I have ever had the pleasure of during our family holidays and they are what make this hotel. In particular Nerea and Yoni were outstanding in their jobs and such lively friendly guys and would like to thank them very much. My son has joined in nearly everything and this is because of how great the team are. The activities they put on around the pool are varied and always great fun. We had room N225 which has a huge balcony with a sea view. Room was always cleaned spotless everyday so would like to thank the cleaners. The food was great, lots of choice but maybe lunch time could have a bit more variety. The snack bar up at the top pool has a bbq and paella but one of our burgers wasn’t cooked properly and this put us off going back up so ate from the restaurant or the snack van. The WiFi in the hotel was great and we had no issues, as was the air con it kept us cool when needed. The reception staff were courteous and helpful when we needed anything. Great front of house team! My son wants to come back but I like to try different hotels, maybe we will return as he thinks this hotel is the best. The a la carte grill restaurant was lovely. Food was great, my son and his dad got the mixed grill and I opted to pay a small supplement for the prawn dish which was delicious. Waiting staff were excellent. Once again we thank the animation team they are amazing!

We booked a package holiday with Jet2, first time using them- we usually book with tui but the same holiday with them was over £400 more. I would recommend Jet2, check in etc was easy, great staff. We booked a private transfer to the hotel, I’m glad we did as we got there in time to get the kids in the pool. Disappointed to find neither pools were heated, despite it being advertised as such, however didn’t ruin our holiday. The food in the buffet restaurant was good for AI, we’ve definitely had worse. Plenty of choice and our kids always found something. We tried one of the restaurants, the grill, honestly it was awful. Disappointing as we had delicious steak in the main restaurant and couldn’t work out how it could be so bad! There is a lot for kids here, the main pool allows inflatables, it’s loud, plenty of entertainment and busy. Our girls age 9&7 spent one morning here and decided they preferred the quiet pool, again personal preference. The entertainment in the evening, standard mini disco for little ones, after that it was hit & miss. The Disney show is people dressed up in costumes lip syncing to Disney tracks, not the best but it’s obvious the entertainment staff are great at their jobs and love the kids. Other nights were better. We had an ocean view suite in block C, lovely spacious rooms and housekeeping daily, couldn’t fault them. Would recommend this block for the quiet pool, very convenient for us and a short walk to the buffet reastaurant, no noise in the evening. I emailed ahead for this block after seeing reviews and they accommodated my request. The AI drinks are not the best, pre mixed cocktails that were pretty poor, I’m not a big drinker but do like a couple, I stuck to beer mostly which was fine. The hotel is huge, probably too big for us, we’re used to half the size and probably the main reason we wouldn’t return, just personal preference. There are some parts of this hotel which are lovely and others a bit butlins (which is great if you like that kind of holiday, I don’t go abroad for that though, we’ve had some lovely haven holidays here) everyone seemed to love the fun fair evening, honestly it’s my worst nightmare at home let alone abroad! Queueing for face painting, balloons and bouncy castles, not my idea of fun but we stuck it out for the kids… Our kids never want to join kids club and honestly whilst we were here I am so glad they didn’t. Whilst swimming in the quiet pool, myself and another lady had to help a 6yo who had become separated from the kids club group - no one came to find here. She was so frightened and upset, it made me pretty angry, I would have been furious had that been my child. I had read on the Facebook group about a similar incident and thought it was a one off - clearly not. Something the hotel seriously need to look at. We had to make sure the child was taken to their parents, it looked as though she was going to be taken straight back to the kids club! So over all, average base

Fantastic hotel. Brilliantly clean, rooms huge and modern. We were there with 9 and 7 year olds and we all had a fabulous holiday. We were in a Landi Village suite. Beds were comfy as were the pillows. TV had good channels. Pool and sea view. Block M which we thought was perfectly situated, far enough away from the main hotel that it wasn’t noisy, not so far that the walk was a pain. So much food to choose from, I don’t understand how anyone could review and be negative about the food. All inclusive is always going to be the same ideas of buffet food with some repetition but so far as all inclusive buffets go we thought the choices were plentiful and the food was hot and fresh and tasty. The staff in the restaurant were always wiping up around the buffet area and cleaning tables so it was always very neat and clean. Self serve drinks, much more choice than some hotels - yes the glasses are very small so if that’s a problem I recommend to take your own cold cup or something, but it didn’t bother me. Well stocked shop. Evening entertainment was always good. I would say that so far as kids clubs go, they didn’t seem to do very interesting activities. My daughter (7) always goes to kids clubs but this time she went twice and left after an hour, they didn’t seem to be very upbeat and energetic within the club it seemed to be sit down and colour in and she didn’t enjoy it whereas at the Iberostar last year she couldn’t get enough of their club and went twice a day every day for the full two hours each time. I also found this surprising because lots of reviews said the club was great. So that was disappointing. Pools were actually warm! That made a huge difference so my daughter was never out of the pool. Pool bar was self service for most things and there was plenty choice. I don’t drink alcohol so was very happy to see they had a zero alcohol dorada beer and zero alcohol frozen cocktails. You definitely have to join in on booking your lounger before say 10:30am or you won’t get a lounger - having said that we went during the Easter holidays so I guess this is the busiest time of the year and the hotel would have been at capacity. Worth the private transfer as it’s quite a drive from the airport. We loved our stay and are returning in October and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to families.

Wracked my brains for ages to try and think of something negative but honestly I can't! We visited as a family of 11 with an age range of 3yrs to 80yrs! Every single one of us loved it and would 100% go back. It had everything we needed for a really special family holiday. The pools are great with so much choice, snack bars fantastic. The buffet restaurant absolutely amazing with so much choice and always spotless. A La Carte restaurants were delicious with fantastic service. Accommodation spotless and cleaned every day, we were in a Landi room which was a good size for our family of 5. We didn't use the children's club but I saw the children going there and how much they absolutely adored the staff who run it. The climbing area was fantastic and the man who ran it showed genuine care for our daughters and helping them achieve completing the course. He came to speak to us and gave them a certificate and really made us feel like he cared. All the staff were kind, welcoming, so hard working, so friendly. Even when performing what must be hard work with long shifts I never saw a grumpy face. The entertainment each night was fantastic and to a high standard. We loved it and I will recommend it to anyone who asks me. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay.
