This was our second visit to this hotel. It is, without doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The location is stunning with beautiful trees and plants everywhere. The staff are amazing and could not have been more helpful and polite. The villa we stayed in was of a very high standard indeed. Very clean, laid out well with good facilities. So quiet and peaceful. Just perfect.

This hotel really has the WOW factor! The decor & ambience is nothing short of amazing. Everywhere is so clean & tidy, I’ve never stayed anywhere where they have been so on top of their game! The food is delicious, my only comment would be to also provide an la carte for breakfast. The stand out factor of this hotel is the service from the restaurant staff! They are so warm & friendly. Nancy was so sweet, Juan kept us laughing and always a lovely catch up in the mornings with Darl. We would return to this slice of paradise in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.

We have just enjoyed our third visit to Royal River in a year. The villas are large and beautiful and the whole complex is wonderfully designed to ensure privacy and calm. The subtropical plants have grown and are really lush. The rivers are magical for swimming. Daniela is ever-present, charming and so welcoming, doing everything to make sure the whole stay is perfect. It was wonderful to see the amazing Nancy, as well as Raquel, Sid and Manuel, who is very attentive and funny. Diego was very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We spoke to fellow guests who had been on boat trips, hired cars and explored the island but we were very happy staying in the complex and relaxing by the pools and in the spa and jacuzzi. The hotel was nearly full but there was an overwhelming sense of space, privacy and calm. The food, drink and service are all first rate. The violinist, harp and pianist at various meals were magical. It’s a wonderful setting. The O’Briens will be returning soon!

I don't think I can ever go back to another hotel! This is literally the BEST hotel I have ever visited. It is our second time coming here and I am still amazed at the service, quality, and even value. The villa is beautifully designed, offering an exquisite mix of luxury and comfort. The pool linking up to the river is so nice and tranquil, providing a serene environment that makes you feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The service here is impeccable. Every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the hotel, from the beautifully maintained gardens to the luxurious amenities in the rooms. We have had the best time and cannot wait to return for another unforgettable experience.

The most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing resort. The staff were amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The Spa is delightful and the food was excellent. The best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, we will definitely be back.

This hotel is designed around comfort and pampering, which is perhaps not always associated (unfairly) with Tenerife. Staff were exceptional, as was the food and drink and our pool villa was the best room we’ve stayed in away from home anywhere in the world. It’s a gruelling walk to the nearby beaches but taxis are so cheap, the location didn’t bother us at all. In fact we mainly stayed in the hotel grounds. Peace and quiet abound and as a real re-charge of the batteries, for us it was faultless.

This is a fabulous hotel. We had the best holiday. It is a beautiful, quiet, sophisticated haven. Daniela the duty manager couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Our room was incredible. One of the nicest rooms and terraces I have ever had. There are only 2 negatives and it wouldn’t put me off going back. In fact I can’t wait to go back. The food and service isn’t the best. The breakfast is ok, and the lunch is ok but dinner is odd. They have 2 gastronomic restaurants open on odd nights. One a Japanese open on one day and one a French open on another day. It’s a strange concept. And there aren’t enough people to service everyone at lunch. But for dinners you are 5 mins away from La Caleta where there are lovely restaurants. And the gym is basic. But the spa is gorgeous. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel.
