Stunning design and decor throughout this fabulous establishment.Our villa was absolutely beautiful spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The spa facility was gorgeous and was the ultimate in serenity. A special mention for the gardening team . The plants were a delight and so artistically presented . The breakfasts were delicious with a very generous selection to tempt one . The cakes and pastries were irresistible. Thank you to all staff for their commitment , hard work and genuine passion for excellence. . We are so grateful for a superb and most relaxing stay in this wonderful Beautiful oasis of calm .

The hotel, the setting and the rooms are fabulous, but there are a few things that need addressing. The restaurants menu’s do not warrant 5 stars, the selection of dishes become boring after a while particularly in the Pineapple restaurant as the day menu and evening menu are exactly the same. There definitely needs to be an overhaul of choice and dishes. The breakfast is disappointing as the buffet is mostly kept in heat trays resulting, for us, in 8 days of luke warm food, nothing is hot, they need to add a table service with breakfast menu. The room service choice is probably one of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The gastronomic experience of any holiday is very important for my family and I as we do a lot of international travel, and as much as I love this hotel I think I’ll be trying somewhere different next time. The staff are lovely and the surroundings also but the food experience is not good or varied enough to warrant 5 stars in my opinion.

We have just stayed in the Royal River for the first time in April and what can I say - it’s the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are out of this world. They are like mini villas and you never have to leave. The bed is so comfortable and you have a selection of pillows from the menu. The cute touches of the beach bag etc make the hotel very special. The service is out of this world. All the staff are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much to ask. The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, you never have to leave. The views of the golf course and the coast are beautiful and you’re only a 20 min walk from the coastal village if you want to head out somewhere different for dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel , you feel like you’re in bail in the middle of Tenerife. I can’t wait to return.

Ein wirklich großartiges Hotel, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde wir herzlich von der Managerin empfangen und in der Anlage herumgeführt. Die Villa war auch bereits vorab bezugsfertig. Die Anlage ist wunderschön begrünt und top gepflegt. Obwohl das Hotel ausgebucht war, kam es einem überhaupt nicht so vor. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles wird umgehend erledigt. Das Hotel hat eine Tiefgarage die kostenfrei genutzt werden kann, auf Wunsch wird auch das Auto geparkt und später wieder vorgefahren. Ein Mietwagen ist zu empfehlen, um die Gegend zu erkunden oder um abends auch mal auswärts Essen zu gehen. Wir hatten zu viert eine River Villa mit zwei Schlafzimmern und jeweils eigenem Bad gebucht. Die Villa war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten super gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind mit einer Minibar und einem gut bestückten Weinkühlschrank ausgestattet, zudem gibt es einen Wasserkocher und eine Kaffeemaschine. In jedem Zimmer der Villa kann separat die Klimaanlage gesteuert werden. Die Terrasse war großzügig und bot ausreichend Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten. Die Rivervillas haben alle einen kleinen Privatpool mit der Möglichkeit in einen 80-100m langen Riverpool zu schwimmen, der herrlich bewachsen ist, ein bisschen wie im Regenwald. Die Pools sind zudem wunderbar beheizt. Das Hotel verfügt außerdem auch über zwei Gemeinschaftspools mit ausreichend Liegemöglichkeiten und einen Whirlpool. Leider werden trotzdem vereinzelt morgens Liegen reserviert, was total unnötig ist. Dadurch, dass jede Villa ihren eigenen Pool hat genießen viele auch ihre eigene Terrasse. Es gab immer genug Liegemöglichkeiten. Getränke und Snacks können am Platz bestellt werden. Die Cocktails sind sehr gut gemacht. Das Frühstuck war sehr gut, es gibt ein Buffet und die Möglichkeit frische Eierspeisen und Toast zu bestellen. Die Auswahl am Buffet war sehr gut und alles schön, es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Der Service ist auch hier sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Die Brasserie in the Top ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön. Das Essen ist zwar durchaus hochpreisig aber sehr gut. Auch die Weinauswahl ist phantastisch. Eine rechtzeitige Reservierung ist unbedingt empfehlenswert. Die anderen Restaurants haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Der Spabereich ist klein aber fein, die Behandlungen waren gut. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Absolute Empfehlung…

Wow, what an ama big hotel. Top class, in service, rooms, food and decor. So relaxing with a river to each of the villas. The roof top terrace is out of this world in terms of views, service and ambience. The room is huge, with a seating area, bedroom and walk in closet. Outside is a personal terrace and plunge pool. I would certainly recommend the hotel. High end in everything it stands for

Wow, wow wow This place is amazing, so amazing I don’t actually want to review it as I don’t want people to go so there is always availability for me. 😁😁😁 The staff from check-in to check out were absolutely amazing. Staff were always attentive always welcoming and could not do enough for you. They wanted you to have a good time. Big shout out to Daniella and her full team who made sure you were well looked after and they attended to your every need. While we were there, I posted pictures and a video on Facebook and one of my friends has actually booked to come to fab hotel. I returned home on Friday. it is now Monday and I have already booked to return. My husband and I stayed in a lagoon villa. An absolutely beautiful room with a more beautiful view and pool. The food in the Top restaurant was beautiful and that view - wow!!! Breakfast just fabulous!!! This is an all-round, amazing hotel with a beautiful pool and spa. Well worth a visit.

Another 5 star stay. It just get better and better. The service and staff are second to none. We have been very well looked after. It’s not called Royal service for nothing. The welcome is always very friendly and relaxed. The villas are amazing. All different in their own way. Food first class. Feeling pampered. Spa definitely worth a visit. Thanks to Daniella and the team again. Will return as quickly as we can

Fully enjoyed our week away at this amazing hotel. First time here and fully intended to just relax.... definitely succeeded We had a two bedroom River villa; perfect size and very well appointed. Half board worked really well . Fantastic service from a really friendly team of staff. Will be back
