Great little spot to stay at. Really liked the area and the place itself felt safe. Only complaint is we almost got locked out the room bc the key wasnt working. We had to jiggle it and take it hella times before actually being able to open the lock.

I advise you to pay for everything directly when purchasing on *********. There is no payment on site!!! This is done by requesting authorization to debit…. With a paper to fill out 72 hours before... the direct debit request was made the same day and my bank sent me a confirmation SMS 2 hours before my arrival which I did not receive being on another American number... this was a big stress because when I arrived in San Juan the hotel was not paid for….and as there was no reception I was stuck at the airport….and I couldn't get to the hotel! The hotel was OK for the price, clean and well located.

We needed a place to stay last minute and booked the Placid Suites for a night. You get what you pay for---so pay a little more and stay somewhere else!! It's basically an unmanned apar**ent complex. Location is good, rooms are basic but clean. BUT, the rooms are so loud!! Other guests came back at 2am, were loud outside, then came back to their rooms playing music and singing until 4am. Absolutely horrible. Could have slept better at the airport.
