The word ‘budget’ often means basic. There was no water bottle in the room. There were no pictures on the walls. There were no coffee making facilities. At day’s end, you get what you paid for. Check in went smoothly. To access your room [and the building later at night] there is an access code. The quirky bit was a bunk bed installed perpendicular to the main bed. I am sure in the dark people have hit their head on it, forgetting it was there. Let’s say a design flaw. There is a small television, desk, chair and mirror. The bathroom is all in one room, a hair/body wash dispenser for use. The best of the room was a very comfortable bed and a not so thick duvet. Not a sound sleeper, I had a good 5 hour stretch. The wifi was generally good. It is not password protected. The breakfast was rather basic but between the breads, fruit salad, yogurt, juices and coffee making there was enough. Overall the place made for a decent stay.

I had a tiny room in this huge, impersonal hotel. For the price I was expecting a better experience. My room overlooked a very unpleasant looking car park. The canopy below my room was filthy, had rubbish on it and was unkempt. The window frames were mouldy, in and outside the room (see photos). At the restaurant I asked if I could have my meal in my room. They said yes but without specifying that they was an ”eat-out” With the exception of a very helpful and friendly man in the breakfast restaurant, the hotel staff were impersonal and ineffective.

I arrived on 13th September and stayed until 19th September and had a truly marvellous stay. Reception was very welcoming and staff very friendly and more than happy to speak English because regretfully I do not speak French, always smiling and greeting no matter what time of day you were in or out. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, lovely decor, and great facilities including air con shower superb and although it seemed to be open to the room it could actually be screened off, room was serviced every day complimentary water on first day of arrival plus tea making facility. My room had a nice view out towards the Alps and the hotel itself is very central to the main centre and to travel to other places so a great location. There is a swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness room. Lovely small lounge downstairs behind reception with complimentary coffee. Would I stay at this hotel again, yes most definitely. The location is quite good. Just by the lake, the balcony is full of mountain and lake views. The front desk is closed very early. There is no one at 8 o'clock. Need attention. In addition, the air-conditioning operating system is complicated. It is best to ask the hotel in advance.

The hotel is very old and it is very good to have a painting renovation effort in the rooms but the security is not always at the rdv. A old kitchenette of the room has become local with free access ...a side of bed. No isolation, simple glass ... delivery from 5h...fin of the night. The spa is very old. The pseudo-nailing master has a mobile phone all day has not always opened all window doors ... while it was 20 outside. In the meantime, it was a misunderstanding that it was cooling in the water. When the fries were ... unfortunately those who want to prepare for relaxing. The moment of relaxation has become a calvaire. He has no place in such a place and for greater reason when he indicated to a person with a disability that he had to swim to warm up! The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. It seems to be an annex apartment of a star-level hotel. If you arrive at night, you need to check in at the next hotel. The location is not on the main road, but at the back of the row opposite the train station. There are microwaves, kettles, and coffee machines. Electric stove, boiling pan, refrigerator, but no frying pan, no condiments, comfortable bed, generally very good, there are very few food around, Annecy is too expensive, so it’s okay to live here and pass by.

I had a one night stay and had a very spacious room with a balcony, which was comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant was excellent, extremely good value for the high quality of the food. Buffet breakfast also was very good. Staff were friendly. Spacious grounds in a good location and it all added up to an enjoyable visit. The guest wifi needs improving.
