Super 8 by Wyndham Cooke City Yellowstone Park Area Reviews

Rude personnel. Very cramped room. Bathroom was almost as big as the room. No air conditioning. Not sure what the smell was in our room. Maybe a cleaning product. My nose was burning after 30 minutes and had a Bloody nose for two days. Bed was soft and very comfortable.

The Super 8 is located right on the main road through town on US Highway 212, not far from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Check-in was just about possible at reception shortly before 8 p.m., but those arriving later had to look for their name on an envelope with the key card on the board. The hotel is quite old and does not really have a comfortable atmosphere. The room and bathroom were clean, however. The access door at the back of the building could only be leaned ajar and was thus open all night. The staff was distant and avoided eye contact. Very limited selection at breakfast. Wifi, however, was better and more stable than "threatened" at check-in.

The room facilities are a bit old. The bed is very comfortable. But there is almost no internet. It is a small town and very quiet.

The Mountain Hotel is a typical American guest house with average facilities. It is relatively expensive in a tourist area. The front desk basically doesn't care and has no service. The facilities are adequate.

Property was clean and quiet. No air conditioning. Parking is somewhat limited. Property did provide a fan for the room. We stayed multiple nights--had to request for staff to service our room.

They advertise free Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work, and they know it doesn't. They have a sign in the lobby that says, "Talk to your family instead." There is no internet or cell service. For what they charge, they could boost their signal. There is no desk service.

No AC-could only open window that was under smoking area. Had to plunge the toilet myself. No internet

This is the best Super8 motel I’ve seen. The rooms are big, well decorated, clean, with enough light.

No aircon, no receptionist after 8pm, wifi not working and hotel staff not help to resolve and told is like that. This means u will disconnect with outside for whole day in this hotel without wifi and mobile network.

Good breakfast and nice reception lady who gave us tips on local restaurant for dinner. Stayed only one evening, clean room, hot water with a great pressure! Only thing is thin wall so you are gonna hear everytime the neighbours flush/bath/talk.. given the location and our one night stay I'd say that we have no complaints and glad that we got this.

The hotel was rundown, room smelled odd, ceiling fan unstable and unsafe when turned on. The only reason we turned, the ceiling fan on was because the temperature was unbearable in the room and there was no air conditioning available. Internet service was terrible. Bathroom was small and very uncomfortable. Breakfast service was substandard with minimal choices and food not fresh.

The bed was very uncomfortable. There was no wifi. It was noisy and the grounds were a mess. If there had been any other option I would have changed. They were overpriced for what they offered. The staff was really nice.

We were hoping for a nice or at least adequate room due to great location near entrance to Yellowstone- but the room was not well cleaned, breakfast was pretty terrible even for Super 8 and staff did not seem to care about much.
