Teanest Coonoor is a destination by itself. Surrounded by lush tea plantations the nature stay comprises of 3 properties (Teanest Coonoor (2 colonial stays, and Teanest Annexe) Must-Try Experiences At Teanest Coonoor: 1. Bird Watching and Tea Plantation Walk where I got to see a herd of Indian Gaur grazing right before my eyes!! 2. Tea Tasting and Tea Menu- Teanest offers a tea tasting session with an expert where you get to taste around 7 varieties of tea some that are exclusive to Coonoor. This is followed by a tea menu that comprises a 4- course dinner that offers tea-infused delicacies prepared by their in-house chef. 3. Walk Around The Property: Teanest encompasses a large space within the Singara Estate. You can spend all your idle time walking around the stay or swinging on their swing that is enwrapped in tea gardens. Every nook and corner of the property is picturesque and makes for a gorgeous backdrops of Instagram worthy photos. I stayed in Teanest Annexe and the room was quite spacious and tastefully done with vintage furniture. They also offered a free Netflix account!!

This place is stunning. The views are amazing, rooms lovely and staff will go above and beyond to help you. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely want to return in future. I definitely recommend for a stay in Nilgiri hills. We had the tea tasting menu one evening and it was fantastic. They also do bird watching in the mornings and walks of the tea plantations so you can learn about the area. Thanks all!

Awesome stay . I stayed at Teanest last month and this was my 2nd trip to Nilgiris’s. The stay was excellent, the ***ager and his team are doing a great job most satisfying hospitality ..The staffs are the truely stars of the show .The rooms are upgraded and well maintained ,the resort garden are well maintained with variety of flowers . And mainly their food was mouth watering, the breakfast was excellent 😋.Awaiting for the next trip 😊. Thank u for the entire team of Tea Nest , keep rocking 👍.

I booked 3 nights at this property with my wife and 2 kids. Location is amazing and the property is nested amidst a massive tea estate. We had booked Hibiscus which had 2 beds in 2 rooms. While rooms were newly renovated , the bath linen and bed sheets were dull and looked used. Breakfast is served only at 8:30 Am, So in case if you are an early riser like me, ontime breakfast could be a cause of concern. Room service is slow. Lunch and Dinner needs to be pre-ordered. Taste of the food is a 3 on 5. Kitchen is closed between 3:00 Pm and 4:30 Pm. The staff needs to be more attentive. ***y a times a follow up was required to get things done. However, the staff was courteous and were ready to help in whatever way possible. You can park 3- 4 cars inside the property but its a tight parking. Additonal cars needs to be parked outside the property. Prices of the rooms were on a higher side considering the facilities and service. Overall my rating is a 3 on 5

I stayed in Tea Nest for 2 nights and 3 days and a part of me feels saddened by how short the trip at this property feels. Located in the middle of Tea Estates, one gets the best of everything. We found it difficult to leave the property even for sightseeing because how scenic this place is. One can hear ***y birds chirping throughout the day, which can be very calming, intriguing and serene. The sunset and sunrise is one for the postcards. With regards to the food, really loved having all our meals at the property be it evening snacks of Fish Fingers and Chicken sandwich or our dinner with Schezwan Noodles...even the Dosa and coffee at breakfast just added to our experience. Beautiful property amidst the tea plantations. Really enjoyed complimentary nature walk amid plantations and the morning walk. Naturalist Mr. Azad was very helpful. Property is very green and decent sized. Parking is not an issue. Strongly recommended

It was a wonderful experience and an awesome stay experience at TeaNest property, Coonoor. The service was awesome and each member at the property took very good care of us the food was very tasty and customised to our needs. Definately this property is a must visit.

We stayed at tea nest for couple of nights and it was a memorable stay. We had booked Silver Tips room and it was decent size, freshly renovated room. If one is looking for a very calm and scenic place away from hustle and noise of city but not very secluded place at the same time, this property is heaven for them. It is such a lovely place that we did not feel like going anywhere else in coonoor and just stayed there the whole time. Things which I liked most are: 1. Newly renovated rooms with fresh interior and clean bathrooms. Smart TV and good Wifi connectivity. 2. Mouth watering freshly cooked food. We are vegetarians so can only provide feedback about that. Buffet breakfast is limited but unlike other resorts, anything you try, it will be tasty so no complains. 3. Staff: Very welcoming and polite staff. Always smiling faces and they keep checking if we need anything. 4. Location: Its in middle of tea estate and lush green mountains all around the property. They provide complementary visit to tea estate in the evening and nature walk in the morning. One should never miss that. Mr. Azad, the naturist is very humble and knowledgeable. He made sure that I get some good clicks of various endemic birds and malabar squirrels. Dec-March is peak season if one likes birds watching. Only con I feel is there are wild animals like Indian bison and leopards in the vicinity so its unsafe to venture outside the property after sunset. Apart from that everything about this place is perfect. We wanted to extend our stay but its was completely sold out. We are definitely going back to this place but for longer duration.
