Hotels in Goha are definitely expensive. Four nights with two rooms including breakfast cost more than five figures. You get what you pay for. You can walk to various places in the city, which is very convenient and clean. The safety is great! The breakfast is great! I can only say that it cannot be compared with domestic hotels. WORST CHECK IN EXPERIENCE EVER. TOOK AN HOUR+TO GET MY ROOM. They said that they were unable to find my booking and told us to wait. After more than 30min, they were still unable to find my booking (because Trip.com used a third party partner to book which wasn't under the name 'Trip.com'), which they resulted to offering us a room as walk-in guests with same price as my original booking. When we were ready to pay, they then said they found my booking (and that the "found" booking matched my personal details)but it then took at least another 30min wait before we could officially check in and get our room key. By then, the reception staff had already changed shifts and the staff that served us was gone. When we could finally check in, they still had the audacity to take their own sweet time to train their rookie staff, instructing her on the check in process.
