A beautiful Hotel , nothing to complain about without nit picking . Very well trained staff who offer excellent service but always with a genuine smile . Special mention to Devon at water sports . Rooms well appointed & presented . Restaurant very good with excellent service & ambience, especially at Dinner . I personally found the food patchy , breakfast always good , although the pastries very dry & underwhelming. Lunch choices not particularly appetising , apart from the BBQ’s , but Dinner mainly very enjoyable . A natural beach area with plenty of sun loungers & shades to accommodate the 30 rooms . Subtle entertainment to complement Dinner in the evenings & occasionally at lunchtimes too . Bar Staff very efficient & always good fun . A selection of Tours & activities organised exclusively for Guests . A very relaxing peaceful Hotel set in beautifully kept gardens where nothing is too much trouble for the super efficient Staff who work there .

After our February Wedding in Barbados, we arrived at East Winds for our 7 night honeymoon. We were promptly shown to our cottage number 7. The room was made up and dressed delightfully. The whole place was immaculate. It was such a pleasure to discover the beautiful gardens and pool area. The food was superb and staff were attentive at all times. We enjoyed the yoga in the pavilion and made use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The whole week almost feels like a dream, there was such an aura of peace and serenity about the place. We loved watching the hummingbirds flitting around the nectar feeders from the bedroom. We now have a little holiday brain fog so cannot possibly remember the names of all the truly lovely staff, but a few to thank and mention, as follows; Wendell the bar tender with the most amazing grin and smile, Sylvia, for her interesting chats and words of wisdom, Simion (Good Vibes), for arranging our excursions, Michel at the pool bar, such a young knowledgable happy chap and Sylvanus, the head gardener with a passion for horticulture and the natural environment. Without a doubt, we will return, but next time make it a longer stay. Roger & Louise Ambrose.

I was lucky enough to win a competition with East Winds to stay for 7 nights all inclusive. We were totally blown away! Upon arrival we were upgraded into an ocean view room and WOW the views were incredible. We absolutely loved the room, it had everything you needed from a fabulous air-con unit to a fully stocked bar. The bed was comfortable. The resort was so relaxing from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble and all the staff were very friendly and smiley. Once we’d settled in I found myself blissfully swimming in the pool every day, forgetting about everything back home and just enjoying being there in the moment. I have a very active brain and it felt amazing to just switch off for a week! The food was delicious and I liked the fact that they offered a light bite menu for times when you felt too full up to eat but wanted a little snack. The cocktails were also delicious! They also had lots of books and board games on offer and we took advantage of the scrabble board everyday. It became a well known fact amongst other travellers and staff that we’d play everyday and we were often asked who was winning. Overall I’d highly recommend East Winds to anyone who’s thinking of visiting. You won’t be disappointed. If you want Caribbean luxury then this is the place. Thank you so much for making our Caribbean dreams come true and thank you for choosing me as your lucky competition winner!

I've always said that, given the world is a big place, I don't understand why people return to the same hotel. Finally, after 45yrs of travelling, I get it! Why go somewhere else when you've already found perfection, you’ll just end up comparing & will, no doubt, regret not returning to this idyllic spot. Quiet: everywhere is so peaceful Relaxing: you are in paradise, it's beautiful Classy: but casual if that makes sense Quality: from the rooms to the food Friendly: the staff, locals, drivers are always happy, professional & welcoming Do go and speak to Davon (watersports team), he'll take you on a hobie catamaran trip along the coast (no cost!) & you'll learn so much. Look out for a turtle or two and the beautiful lizards, learn about Rat Island, local wildlife & general living in St Lucia. In our early 50's, this hotel ticked all of the boxes providing us with a luxurious & relaxing 10 day holiday. Thank you to the East Winds Team, please don't change a thing as we'll br heading back :)

A perfect holiday, it had a real Caribbean feel to the whole hotel unlike some of the other islands. The rooms, all the staff were so welcoming. Plenty of sun beds so much so that no one ever reserved them . The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed a most interesting guided tour around the gardens were we learnt a lot more about the various plants and their uses and of course the birds. Wonderful spa where I had a back massage and facial using local plants from garden which was so much nicer than a lot in Uk. I also enjoyed the yoga and Pilates classes before breakfast which were given by excellent teachers and made it fun too. East Winds also helped by the guests, everyone was so friendly it felt like a real family. I don’t think it could be improved. Thank you to all the staff for making this holiday so special. We will definitely return as do the majority of guests.

East Winds is without doubt the most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed in - we smiled and luxuriated the whole 10 days we were there. To describe it in two words, I’d say “perfect balance” but it deserves a few more words… The setting is beautiful with ample sunbeds and seats nicely positioned around the beach to maintain the peace you want when you’re just lazing. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Wi-Fi coverage was complete. If you want to go out on the water, the watersports team (Joe, Eric, and Davon) are friendly and helpful. The grounds are special - calming and fascinating at the same time (you must do the garden tour with Sylvanus, the coolest and most knowledgeable curator and designer of the grounds with a vast range of trees and shrubs with all sorts of health benefits). The ubiquitous hummingbirds with feeding points all around were an added bonus. The food and wine selection was excellent - I thought I would have to measure the time I was there in kilos rather than days. The entertainment was just right to match the atmosphere. I really enjoyed the yoga, which is in a superb location with an excellent teacher (thanks, Jill!). What ties all this together to make that perfect balance and extra difference is the staff. They were simply great - attentive, friendly, and professional at the same time. From housekeeping to the ever-present restaurant and bar teams. Many thanks to Angel , Chantal , Charms, Danny & Jermaine & Harry and the rest of the kitchen team, Jess-se, Kirby, Kirwin, Miriam (great wine selection!), Mickel, Nicky, Robert, Selma, Septima, Simeon (good vibes, man!), Sylvia (cocktail queen), Titus, Windel (professor of rum) and any I’ve missed out. Credit must be due, of course, to the management as well for orchestrating this great balance and atmosphere. See you next time! Nick and Rachel

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to this most amazing beach resort – everything was perfect. The staff were absolutely amazing and looked after us so well; the food and drink were exceptional and our room was kept spotlessly clean. Entertainment was varied from a steel band to a pianist all of which were very good. The beach setting of East Winds is lovely and the well maintained gardens are a delight. The optional spa treatments are a bonus and well worth having by the lovely Theresa. Optional Excursions are arranged with East Winds and there are a variety of water activities available as well. Massive thanks to Natasha, Charms, Kerwin, Mikkel, Angel, Septima, Jes-se, Chanta, Miriam, Robert, Kirby, Nikey and to everyone else for which I apologise for not mentioning in name for such a fantastic vacation. To coin a phrase ‘we’ll be back’!

What can I say. This is a truly wonderful small beach resort in St Lucia. Everything was literally perfect. The staff were amazing and looked after us beautifully, the food and wines were a delight, our room was beautiful, peaceful and clean and the beach and gardens were stunning. There was a lovely variety of music with a pianist one night and a small Caribbean band another to name but a few. There was also a good selection of water sports and the team there were ace especially Davon who was so kind and patient and showed me how to paddle board and even took me out on the catamaran a few times which was such great fun. And the garden tour was great and so informative, learning about all the medicinal benefits of the plants. I could just go on but mainly I want to say a big thank you to you all for such a fantastic stay with you.

A laid back, tranquil haven. Beautifully landscaped, super cottage style rooms where the hummingbirds sip the nectar hung on your patio, and bull-finches sit on the arm of your chair. The pool is lovely and never overly busy, as most prefer the private beach... where there are always enough parasols & loungers. The food is great, as are the cocktails and champagne. The biggest asset are the staff. The service here is terrific. Not to forget the spa... the greatest pair of hands in the carribbean. Outings are arranged, by a master of hospitality, to suit the guest.. Good vibes Simeon. East Winds won't suit everyone.. the average age of guest is higher than most, and the entertainment reflects this. For me, one of the most all-round loveliest places I've ever stayed at. Charms, Theresa, Miriam and all the others... chefs, gardeners, bartenders, waiters, SALUT
