"Many aspects of this small all-inclusive resort are lovely, including the staff and the refurbished rooms. However the walls are thin, and we had to ask to be moved following sleepless nights due to noisy young neighbours thru the nights. St Lucia Road traffic has got much busier compared to our previous visit a few years ago, such that it took 2.5 hours to be driven there from Soufriere. Not East Winds’ fault, of course, but the 35 minutes’ wait on arrival to get to our room was, whilst the 2 staff present at Reception were busy - with another customer in one case, and sat busy at her desk in the other - and both too busy to offer us a welcome drink. We were also surprised and disappointed by the reserving of sunbeds from early morning by the other guests, in the style of a Spanish package tour hotel!, which meant it was difficult to find anywhere to sit on the beaches on several occasions. We felt that the resort was suffering from the only occasional presence of Judith the MD since our previous visit. But I have still given a 4-star rating to this review, as much was done well, eg the restaurant service and food, and the live music during the meals."
