Spectacular, beautiful resort! Sorry I didn't have a date since this is truly a couples place. But I did enjoy the solitude, perfect beach and included snorkeling, and double bed hut right on the sand with wifi! Food is better than average for Philippines. Not sure how they even get the food here or how they could have built such a nice place on a deserted island (20 min boat ride from Basuanga airport after short van xfer). Beware there are a few thousand bats if you're in the main hotel and at dusk they kinda go nuts flying around...

The one-island-one-hotel Paradise Club is really worth the effort. Take a hotel car from the airport to the northern pier, and then take a speedboat to the island. All the hotel staff are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to say hello to you. It's so beautiful to lie on the beach for a day!
