The KokosNuss Garden Resort is a lot different than before, now the rooms made of bamboo are gone, the old houses are gone, the KokosNuss Garden Resort is a testament to the resilience and beauty of nature, as well as the kindness and trustworthiness of humanity. Despite the devastating effects of the typhoon and fire that destroyed some of its structures, the spirit of the place lives on through its dedicated and caring staff. The resort was "decent". Booked entirely based on price.
Resort needs some serious TLC. They should invest in the property and it would be nice.
Remove window aircon and install split system. Install small refrigerators in the rooms. Our aircon barely dropped the temperature even when i left it running 24 hours
Restaurant was not good. Thank God for McDonald's down the street
Based on the lack of attention to the property by the foreign owners, we would not recommend. It seems they are happy with things being what they are

Amazing place about 15 mins walk from Coron centre. Staff were so friendly and kind. A quiet paradise in the hubbub of Coron. Highly recommend.

Avec certains avis j’avais une crainte avant d’arriver . C’était clairement infondé . Alma la gérante et son équipe sont très sympathiques et efficaces . Nous avions 2 chambres pour nos 2 familles situées au rez de chaussé en face de la piscine . La piscine était propre et très bien entretenue, avec un superbe jardin tout autour et des hamacs et balançoires (elle a tourné vert suite à un orage et à tout de suite été traitée . Tous les jours des jardiniers prenaient soin des extérieurs et de la piscine . Les chambres étaient nettoyées chaque jour si nous le souhaitions . Les chambres étaient propres , la clim un peu bruyante mais efficace . Eau chaude à la douche . Certes tout n’était pas d’un standing 5 étoiles mais pour moins de 50€ la nuit c’était vraiment bien . A l’entrée de la ville ce qui évite les désagréments des bruits de la route , on rejoint en tricycle la ville rapidement pour 20 pesos par personne . On a passé une semaine ici avec grand plaisir !

This was our 2nd time staying at KokosNuss. The previous time was back in March, and we stayed 21 nights that time. This time we stayed 18 nights. Can't speak highly enough of the staff and the food. We were even invited to, and took part in, the staff Xmas party !! Such a fun night. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This was a great place to stay. Roosters and motorcycles were noisy but the beautiful gardens made up for it. My only complaint was lack of hot water and water pressure.

The complex is definitely getting old and is only very carelessly maintained. The swimming pool could not be used during our 2.5 day stay and had to be cleaned again. Extremely loud air conditioning in the room, no provision of drinking water. The general service mediocre, partly not very friendly. Breakfast was good. All in all, I can't make any recommendations, in this price range we have stayed in completely different accommodations in the Philippines, where we were welcomed extremely friendly everywhere.
