stayed here at Easter pools were freezing cold. even though stated they are heated. food wasn't the best, have to go early to get hot food, they love olives in all rice pasta dishes. so picking them all out wasn't fun. the hot tub in the pool was never on and that to was cold. slides had only opened the week before we arrived, so that was a good thing for my youngest. the older life guard was great , asking the younger kids if they could swim before they went down the slides and where the parent was sitting. as he told two young children with armbands on to go get the parents as they had let these little ones go off on their own from the other pool.one of the younger life guards was more interested in his phone than watching the kids on the slides. the snacks on an afternoon was terrible. hard bread ham and cheese sandwiches, a small bowl of fruit, hard croissant's , and mini cold hot dogs with buns. nothing was covered up so the birds had a field day flying in and out pecking at the bread. Entertainment was poor, so we ended up going for walks on a night after tea. the gym is laughable in a shed out the back with 1 item and a few weights. receptionist wasn't that helpful at all, as we arrived late i asked if there was any chance of a bite to eat or drink or some fruit that was visible behind the reception desk. was told "no". The cleaners seem to pop in randomly, they had already been in once on the morning , and came back for some reason on the afternoon, just as well we were in as my son had left his headphones on the bed on the morning. the room was basic to say the least, no aircon in the bedroom, just in the main living area where the tv is, you get a fridge that is empty, a kettle cups and glasses, so you cant even make a drink .. they don't provide you with tea coffee water. so what is the point of the kettle? especially when you arrive after midnight. kids club is laughable, i asked what was on and she said it depended if any kids turn up.. for the first few days you could get slushies for free, then the following day my son got told that it would be 1 euro for them. also they charged for tea and coffee at the outdoor bar. when the coffee machines where off. not very all inclusive.. the only good things about the hotel was the slides for kids, and that the drinks machines where turned around so you could help yourself to a drink, so it saved on waiting in queues at the bar. the waterpark is about 20 minute walk up the road, which we discovered was closed when we got there, apparently they close 2 days a week, this may change in peak season. be aware that you do get charged when you hire the rings i got 3 and it was 30 euros. you must keep your receipt or you wont get half your money back. Music square is good, the live music is great, and plenty of shops to look in. corralejo its self is beautiful, but i wouldn't stay here again.

We arrived late around 9 pm when dinner was about to finish, I know when I have arrived late in other destinations they will accomadate for you and make sure there is still variety for you to eat, however this wasn’t the case we were told straight away that this finishes in 20 minutes! The room: was a pleasant size, when I switched on the TV to check the channels as I usually do I seen we had ITV and Bbc1 which i thought was good, however let me just say that at 11pm you can’t watch tv the signal goes! It’s like your at home as a child and you get told no more TV time for bed! On returning home 1 night was greeted by 2 huge cockroaches which ruined my sleep, very unhappy! You get told if you need anything call the 24hour reception, WELL you need a phone in the room first! There was none! Food: There is very minimal variety and over our short stay the food was repeated several times, the puddings were the same 4 cakes and 4 ice creams which was really disappointing when you pay for all inclusive you expect variety, on one occasion I had to cut the meat myself and there was no chef in sight! Entertainment: Non existent on one night we played a quiz my team clearly won but she felt sorry for the other team and gave them the win- she was terrible and actually needed to work in the kitchen instead to support them there, zero people skills and didn’t know how to host a simple quiz. Why not put on a disco! If you want us to stay in the hotel entertain us. Reception: I met a receptionist called IRINA- asked her if I could hire a iron for a few hours, her response was -“ yes but I don’t have any” I said “ okay I was told to come today and it’s been 3 days surely you can ask someone to return it” she then said “ yes we have over 400 guests how do you want me to find you a iron, others need it too, what can I do” I then said “that’s not my issue you should have better system knowing you have 400 guests that would make sense” Very rude! again another staff member that should help out in the kitchen rather than be front of house with no customer service or desire to help customers. WIFI: Not in rooms so please don’t expect you will get it, it’s great in reception. IRINA said “ There’s over 400 guests maybe using WiFi, it works in reception” again great customer service! Also the website says WiFi in rooms but there is not in all rooms be specific! My friends asked why the tv cuts off at 11 the great IRINA said “This is a holiday you should go out not watch tv” AGAIN great customer service, nothing along the lines of I’ll see what I can do to help terrible customer service from her. Gym: That is not a GYM it’s an outhouse! the bike is 75 years old and there is 1 dumbbell! What I did like: Drink portions were good! The pool areas were good and the yellow slide was loads of fun, in short I would never come back to this place again and now I know why I have never booked a 3 star. AVOID if possible

We had previously visited this hotel last November and we decided to visit again which is rare for us . On first appearances it seemed things were the same we had an updated room close to reception and as usual all the staff in the dining room were welcoming . We noticed the variety of salads had gone down and a whole bay of deserts had been removed but there was still adequate food we also noticed there was rarely any meat on the menu a little fish though what meat there was , was mixed into stews and stroganoffs etc The rice was sometimes uncooked . Breakfast was good but it put us off when we saw wild birds all over the bread . We only stayed in on one occasion and the only entertainment that evening was bingo not for us drink portions were large . Talking to others the entertainment was poor and finished way too early The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and made a fuss of us as they remembered us sad to say we had a very unpleasant experience with a receptionist as we came to leave as we got our safe deposit back she said she was keeping one euro we asked why ? She said you have had a charge to your room we queried this and said what ? She said ice cream we said we have had no ice cream we have been out all day we had not even been near the pool and out in the evenings she carried on arguing saying she must have the euro have the euro my husband said I’m not bothered about a euro it’s the principle of this and you are disbelieving us !! She was very stony faced and says you will have to go down to see the restaurant manager if you want to complain! !We were on a tight schedule as we had a plane to catch so this was impossible we said we had just shook hands will the restaurant manager and said goodbye but what had he got to do with extras by the pool is a mystery. All in all it’s left a bad taste in our mouths we were going to book again for winter but it’s put us off you can have extras like 6 euro Bailey’s so imagine we could have had a 50 euro bill anyone can it seems charge to your room !! We said how do you charge to your room do you need to show your key ? She says no you just tell us the number . So I said I could charge anything to any room !! She says I hope you wouldn’t do that , I said no but obviously someone else has

We’ve just come back from a 5 night break at this hotel and we won’t be returning. The staff were really lovely, I can’t fault them and they were soo friendly with my little 2 year old it was lovely. The swimming pools were freezing! And the tiles around the pool are lethal! My 2 year old slipped on them all the time, it’s surprising he didn’t break anything. The food was soo basic, my mum even ate some raw chicken by mistake which had been served up. The rice was often not cooked properly too. There were birds flying around the canteen landing on the food too. The fish was lovely - that was about the only thing. As people came into the canteen to eat, the grubbier it felt. The snacks in the afternoon were so bad, stale bread with a slice of cheese it was disgusting. The apartments weren’t great, very dated. My little boy got a cold whilst we were there and the dusty beds made him so bad during the night too, so it was not a relaxing holiday one bit as we didn’t sleep well at all. Even though we had cleaners every other day. Location was good, we walked to the beach every day as we wanted to get out of the hotel which was only about 15 minutes away. The wine was disgusting, very watered down! The baileys was lovely mind. With all this said, it was a cheap holiday so you get what you pay for, however I don’t expect dusty beds and uncooked food.

We couldn't really fault the hotel or the staff. Our room just near reception was ideal for us. We overlooked the main pools and bar from our balcony. The room itself was large with a living area with a separate bedroom and bathroom. It had a kettle but you do need your own cups/spoon etc. The cleaner came every other day so it was always clean. The food in the restaurant was fine for all inclusive, there was always something to suit most tastes. There was lots of choices, cooking stations doing fish and meat, pizza and pasta dishes and lovely salads. As with most hotels it does get a bit much after 2 weeks of eating and drinking!! The drinks were good too, definitely not watered down. In the restaurant there was Amstel beer on tap and also wine which was fine. When we were there it was paper cups at the pool bar but they were OK, apparently now it's changed, you get a plastic cup and keep it to re use. The entertainment was very low key but we weren't bothered, it was nice to sit outside and chat to other holidaymakers. The hotel itself is on the outskirts of Corralejo, it's around a 20 min walk to the top of the ***** but the Campanario centre with bars etc is only 10 mins at most. There's also a few bars and a supermarket a 10 min walk to the right from the front of the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay there and met some great people.

Did 10 days at this hotel an had a great holiday food good. Corralejo fantastic but..... had a 100 pound jacket stolen out of my room by the maids an the hotel denied it, although I was 100% certain it was stolen by them . Then on the last day as we were due to leave a young couple had 210 euro taken off there room table while they were out for dinner, they were only gone 20 mins. Also lot of cockroaches here. Had to move rooms at they were running round the room on a night in numbers. If you book 07 aloe be very vigilant as they are 100% thieves maids in this hotel. Corralejo as a place it's self is fantastic but 30 min walk to center.

We have just arrived home from a week here, 2 adults 2 kids. Without a doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we holiday every year. Facilities are of the highest quality, well cleaned and well maintained, food was very good and always something to choose from. Staff were very kind and helpful. The sauna is a must in my opinion, its 9 euro for one visit, are 15 for 2 visits, I can't recommend this highly enough, I sauna everyday and this one is without doubt the best sauna I've ever been in. We are gona book again for August as we found the hotel really nice and the area very peaceful and beautiful. My advice to any1 thinking of booking here is to just book it and go see for yourself, u won't regret it. Wee tip for any1 going, there's a lovely wee bar about a 5 minute walk from the hotel called the flinstones, enjoy.

Overall this hotel is a fair choice for the price we paid. However I am fussy and I didn’t eat at the restaurant I prefer to go out for food. The restaurant didn’t look bad, and everything is clean. The rooms are very basic but comfortable and clean. It’s not luxury but then it’s 3 star. Beds are comfortable as are the pillows. I think they are busy renovating them all as some have kitchens but ours didn’t. The staff are helpful and seem to be really trying to improve the place since new ownership in October 23. Pros and cons Pros Cheap Clean Comfortable beds Nice pool area Plenty sunbeds Bar drinks ok although I didn’t sample the alcoholic ones. I think they charge extra for some cocktails and the slushes are 1 euro. Taxis were always available and quick to arrive. 5 euro into town. Cons Entertainment room is small, can imagine in peak season this will be rammed. The food bags after our late flight were a nice gesture (although awful) but a drink would’ve been helpful as there was nowhere to buy water and we were very thirsty, everywhere in hotel was closed and no shops nearby. 20 min walk to centre and 10 mins walk to a shop. However, reflected in the price. Nowhere to put your luggage on check out day. It’s left at reception but not in a locked room or anything. Our shower flooded every time but I reported this and they were going to sort. Some guests rather intoxicated after a full day on the drink which led to a bit of bother which we unfortunately witnessed but overall everyone we met were lovely.
