Casa de Huespedes Con Encanto El Sueno del Quijote
4/531 Reviews
My wife and I stayed for an entire month, and the monthly rate was pretty good. The room was just enough for what we needed and was very clean. Also, it has a weekly cleaning service. The host was very kind and accommodating and was very responsive when needed. The location was pretty good as it is just a 15min walk away from the Historical City Center. If you come by car to Alcalá, you'll find a lot of free parking spots around the Hotel (2min walk away max). If you want to experience amazing Porras and Churros, the Churreria and Chocolateria Cibeles is right in front of the Hotel. Finally, the decor, inspired by Don Quijote, adds a friendly atmosphere.

Reception staff: Before getting to the hotel we needed to speak to get some advice re are booking and we were met with quite a rude lady on the reception phone. It nearly put us off booking at this point. The male reception staff, cleaning staff and bar staff were lovely. Just one not so kind person. Rooms: No frills. This is not a 4 star hotel. No tea / coffee or drink facilities. No filled mini-bar. The toiletries were cheap and not very appealing. There was no shampoo etc....there was a push shower gel dispenser in the bath. The water was hot and bathroom clean however. The bed was comfortable enough and we had a good night sleep as we were high up but the window had to be closed as the noise from the road was significant. In terms of the television - missing lots of channels, old and not really in keeping with 4 star status. I don't want to create a wasteful society but they really do need an upgrade. Wifi excellent but nothing modern like a USB charger or anything remotely helpful to the international traveller. All in all, I would not be in a rush to go back here. It was very average and certainly NOT somewhere I would recommend to friends of family and I guess that is the sign of a decent hotel.
Parador de Alcala de Henares

I have stayed in more than a few Paradores (A Parador is a state-owned luxury hotel, usually located in a converted historic building such as a monastery, castle, convent, etc) including the fabulous Parador in Ronda. I booked this place hoping to be treated to a similar experience and getting to stay in a piece of history. However we were a bit disappointed as this felt a lot more modern and not having retained enough of the heritage vibe. So a bit disappointed, especially since the Rooms were super basic - didnt even have any bottle of water of even the basic luxury elements. LOCATION: Fantastic location in the heart of old town and easy access to all attractions DINE + DRINK: The parador has a sweet Bar and a good bistro, both of which we didnt get a chance to try. ROOM: We stayed in Room 207, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: partially hidden view of the heritage building’s tower ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: decent spa quality toiletries FACILITIES: Super compact gym with limited machines and no weights. Not the best. The swimming pool is a compact one too. Both seem like something that have been fitted just for the namesake. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in limited languages

1. In order to go to Barcelona in the early morning, the place reserved at the expressway, although remote, is convenient for everyone to travel. 2, it is similar to the domestic fast hotel, a little bit to deal with, compared to the high price of the city, it is cheaper.

The hotel was very friendly and very friendly and the hotel was very friendly and very friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. Between my son and I took about 2 meters away, there was a ice cream and if the snow powder is made ice there is no one who takes it away and we'd see you a week caught, We had to extend the stay at the hotel 1 day, it was normally charged, and was abused in a mixed sandwich and a piece of fruit for the 3 we travel and almost charge € 50 (abusive enough), for dinner, because they had no restaurant The breakfast very bad, little smooth, and very little amount. Luckily speak to several guests so we remove the snow we ...beca the address ni mu .... we managed to remove it and we started to take all cars ... I waited a month to see if the address reported something .... again the address ni mu.... Finally decided to publish the review for whoever dare to go knows that you will be left tired
