This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The communication we received prior and during our arrival/stay was incredibly efficient and professional! The staff and their attention to detail were amazing and we were simply blown away by the hotel's facilities and our room! Location was excellent and the instructions for parking our rental car were by far the most comprehensive we have ever received. Truly impressive overall! We highly recommend Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa.

The hotel is luxurious, but definitely not pretentious. The staff went above and beyond what was necessary to get to know us and offer us the best experience. We enjoyed dinner and lunch at the restaurant, drinks at the bar, spa treatments, and of course the delicious breakfast each morning. There were a few issues with the air conditioning in our room but fortunately the weather was mild. Our lovely appointed room was right off the courtyard and pool area. Our stay at the Monastero di Cortona made our visit to this charming Tuscan town especially memorable.

This is one of our best experiences in any hotel, and we travel a lot. The professional service and friendliness of the whole staff is outstanding. They surprised me with a birthday cake without us telling them about it. We loved our suite which is very clean and well equipped. The views from our room where incredible. The help to drive up to the hotel on the narrow streets was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay there again, if we come back to Cortona. A big thank you to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing service oriented staff who go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Meticulous, gorgeous, yet warm and elegant! The town of Cortona is so, so charming and the people friendly and welcoming! A little gem of a town and could not have had a better stay at Monastero di Cortona! Grazie mille!

Resort curato nei minimi dettagli. Personale all’altezza della situazione, cortese , accogliente e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. La hall, le camere , la sala ristorante , quella esterna per il relax, la SPA e la vista mozzafiato che domina Cortona completano questa meravigliosa opera d’arte. Ci ritorneremo volentieri .

Beautiful rooms and patios. Service exceptional. Spa very nice. Concierge always helpful with recommendations and directions. Restaurant - breakfast and dinner also very good. Atop the hill it afforded privacy and view, but easily walkable to town. Caveat: very hilly town so be prepared!

Such a lovely, friendly hotel high up in the hills of Cortona! The staff were all wonderful and worked hard to make our stay special. Fabulous breakfast made to order and every part of the hotel is beautifully presented. The courtyard and swimming pool area are a gorgeous place to relax when the weather is warm. A note of warning though to those with limited mobility - navigating the roads to access the hotel is tricky (very steep, and narrow if you happen to be drivjng). We would have loved to have had access to tea/coffee during the day - either in our room or in a central lounge area. We ate at the on-site restaurant a couple of nights as we just couldn't face the thought of traipsing up and down the hills again on cold nights. It was nice, super friendly staff but quite expensive.

It takes a lot to make me say phenomenal! But it’s the only superlative I can use!… The hotel itself is Magical! Cortona is of course stunning! But the Staff experience at this hotel has to be experienced! I have been lucky enough to stay at some prestigious hotels on my Travels, but never have I experienced the attention to detail of the staff members here. From the first moment to check out! There honestly was not a moment I didn’t feel in awe of the professional attentive service and ambiance created by every staff member encountered! Four seasons would be impressed! Nothing was to much trouble, and smiles and pride in the hotel were self evident! I would honestly recommend this hotel to any discerning traveller and defy anybody to find any fault! Every star is thoroughly deserved! This is rare today! Bravo! To all the fantastic team! You should be very proud! And I do not give this level of praise lightly! We will be back very soon!
