Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa
"A fantastic experience! I didn't want to stay longer. The room was amazing, and all the staff were incredibly helpful. I'll definitely stay longer next time! 👍"
Hotel San Luca
"We slept one night in this hotel in the city center, but we also felt like we were the center of attention of the staff. A structure that welcomes thousands of people in a year, made us feel truly welcomed as important customers, without being fake or sentimental. A truly spontaneous and natural attitude. For me it was already a touch of grace for the stay. Rooms, not very large, but comfortable, clean and pleasant. The only pity is that they are not very soundproofed. The breakfast was truly exquisite, varied and of quality. View from the breakfast room and the reception: magnificent. The structure is convenient for any direction you want to take to visit the city!! A more than pleasant stay!! To remember!! Congratulations. Price: very valid"
Villa di Piazzano - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"I recently stayed at Villa Di Piazzano for my pre-wedding photoshoot, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly helpful from before arrival to departure. The villa is beautifully designed, and the restaurant serves exceptional food with a diverse breakfast spread. My stay was very comfortable, and I wish I could have stayed longer. The combination of stunning surroundings, delicious cuisine, and outstanding service makes Villa Di Piazzano a perfect destination for any occasion. I highly recommend it for a memorable and luxurious experience."
Villa Borgo San Pietro
"This hotel is really nice. It is situated in the country side, but less than 10 minutes away from Cortona in car. We had a really lovely room with a view, of Cortona. Our kids had a flat with a small garden, which was very ideal as well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Every morning for the breakfast they came around and asked which coffee we wanted, especially one of the women just remembered our choice and brought it with a big smile. The breakfast buffet was so lovely. At night we enjoyed a glass of wine in the patio, and that was very cozy as well. We enjoyed our stay here very much."
Il Falconiere Relais & Spa
"Very disappointing wine tasting experience. Our tour guide was 45 minutes late to meet us and told us we would not tour the grounds as it had “rained earlier in the day”. She poured red wine into glasses that had just had white wine in them… when we asked for water, she straight up rolled her eyes and never brought any. Wish I had her name— brown hair and had been there 2 years. After she poured our 4th tasting, she left and we never saw her again. We’ve been in Tuscany for over a week and this was unquestionably our worst vineyard visit. That said, the tasting menu at the restaurant was unbelievable and the service down there was outstanding. Still thinking about the goose tortelli."
B&B San Francesco
"Structure for mediocre quality/price ratio: a room furnished with old furniture and reduced to a minimum. Poor breakfast with discount products and already partly consumed: an old recycled tart. Owner absent and not very kind and professional in providing information and in a hurry to receive payment. The reception at the check was approximate and with an impractical employee. Evaluation on Booking out of reality: excessively positive opinions! Highly not recommended!!!"
Hotel San Michele
"Very good location of the hotel in the heart of the old city. Nice interior. Very good varied breakfast. You can ask for hot water for tea in your room. The fly in the ointment was the reluctance of the staff to try to help with reserving a place in the restaurant; in the end, we didn’t manage to have dinner at all"
Relais Villa Baldelli
"The property is terribly neglected. The room has peeling walls, a faint smell of mold, and dusty furnishings. A half-curtain hanging from the window and the bedspread looked like they hadn't seen soap in a while. The bathroom is in terrible condition, with stains on the walls and rusty pipes. Everything looks old, poorly maintained, and dusty. The pool is beautiful, with almost dilapidated umbrellas, mismatched loungers, and stained pillows. The staff—very friendly—is minimal. I don't think anyone is on site at night, when the entrance gate is closed. We reported a few issues, and the excuse given was that the property is old and in the countryside; there's nothing more they can do. The breakfast was passable. The stay was depressing. I'll leave just one photo; I'm embarrassed to post the ones of the bathroom."
Relais la Corte dei Papi
"We stayed for a week for our 25th wedding anniversary and I don’t think we could have found anywhere better for the price anywhere in Europe. It’s small and quiet, and if that is what you are looking for (we were) then it’s perfect! In the daytime it’s very relaxed and friendly, no one hassles you to consume food or drink that you might not want, if you do want something, just ask. There is no signing room chits every time you want a beer or coffee. In the evening they put on the most amazing Tuscan fine dining experience, quite outstanding and worth the money – we ate in four times in a week! The nearby town of Cortona has everything that you could wish for in a Tuscan hill town, even the preserved body of a Saint (Margarita – patron saint of cocktails?) and it’s an ideal base for exploring southern Tuscany – Sienna is less than an hour away. There is nothing else of interest in the village of Pergo, so you will need a car – preferably with sat nav! It’s less than one hour from Perugia airport and we found the flight times from Stansted more convenient than say Florence which would entail a longer drive too, but bear in mind that until the airport is rebuilt Perugia is pretty dire even by Ryanair standards! The bill came to just under 3000 euros for the week, we had one of the best rooms and we didn’t want for anything. A special thanks to David, the proprietor, and his staff for making us so welcome!"

Villa Augusto
"This place became very special to me. The house was absolutely amazing, quiet and historical. It was like a palace! The pool was perfect and the hosts are the kindest people ever. They helped me with everything, and they are always there if you need them. I will be coming back again for sure, one of the most unique experiences I have ever had. I still can’t believe it!"
Rocca di Pierle Agriturismo di Charme
"Spectacular view, evening and daytime. Sheila and Roberta went above and beyond! Piuche OK! La Valle was extremely comfortable! It was so warm and welcoming, we wished it was our home. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. Wish we had taken advantage of all of them. Sheila gave wonderful recommendations of places to go and things to do."
Hotel Italia Cortona
"Ugly single room on the top floor. It was as if she lived in a dovecote. It’s not even like that, something between a dovecote and a cell. Small dark room with a view of the wall. The bed is like I'm in a barracks. Everything is uncomfortable. There is no stand for the suitcase. The View Room is only open for breakfast. Maybe there are better rooms. But I don't recommend a single room."
Casa Kita
"The owner of this bed and breakfast does not speak English, but we communicated easily through google translate. The decor in the room was very lovely and the washroom was very clean. The breakfast room is very lovely, even a menu to order from. I would come back. Thank you!"
Villa Santa Margherita - Albergo
Casale l'Antico Carro
"Stayed in this farmhouse with my family and we had a great time! Warm, comfortable and clean! Below there is also a small restaurant where we ate very well! I recommend it to everyone for moments of relaxation and for a pleasant dinner"
