Very good location of the hotel in the heart of the old city. Nice interior. Very good varied breakfast. You can ask for hot water for tea in your room. The fly in the oin**ent was the reluctance of the staff to try to help with reserving a place in the restaurant; in the end, we didn’t manage to have dinner at all

Struttura storica molto bella, curata e pulita. Personale disponibile e gentile. Ottima esperienza complessiva, anche perché la struttura si trova in posizione centralissima (piazza/locali) nonché molto vicina ai parcheggi situati fuori le mura

The hotel has a great location. It’s central, and the sights, shopping and restaurants are all nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great - varied and delicious. Something for everyone! I highly recommend Hotel San Michele.

Foi a nossa terceira estadia no belíssimo Hotel San Michele e sempre muito agradável. Nosso quarto tinha uma vista maravilhosa para o Val de Chiana e Lago Trasimeno. A localização é perfeita, a poucos metros da Piazza della Repubblica, possui estacionamento que deve ser reservado com antecedência e o staff é muito gentil.

A charming and a lovely former palace in the heart of Cortona. Exceptional gem right in the heart of lovely Cortona. From the check in staff, breakfast and the restaurant next to the hotel, just exceptional. Thank you Amalia and I believe Michelle too, just wonderful staff and terrific breakfast. Keep in mind, all the towns in Tuscany, one needs to park a bit below and walk up to the hotels. In addition, any booking one does, one needs to take responsibility and the staff is just to guide and assist. They are all wonderful, including Amalia mother, right next to the restaurant. Love her tie! ☺

Tolles Hotel mitten im Altstadt. Parken vorher am besten buchen. Wir hatten Glück und einen öffentlichen Platz gefunden aber sehr voll. Die Zimmer wunderschön alte Möbel u d sehr sehr ruhig.Reception und frühstück sehr sehr nette Service. Danke für das tolle Erlebnis

Ho soggiornato una sola notte in questo hotel, ma mi è bastato per ottenerne una impressione molto positiva. Bellissimo palazzo affrescato del XV secolo, in pieno centro storico. Stanze grandi con arredi in tema, personale gentilissimo e colazione ottima e abbondante. Ciliegina sulla torta, è pet friendly, non solo a parole, il personale alla reception ha accolto con calore anche il nostro cane, e non è una cosa scontata. Sicuramente un hotel da rivivere.

Great experince from front desk guy getting our backpacks out of the taxi to leaving. Take the €15 taxi to hotel or wait on the cheaper hourly bus, we didn't want to waste any precious vacation time. Exceptional stay and can walk to famous Piazza Repubblica in 1 minute from hotel. If we return to Cortona it WILL be here.

We had the 4- bed room with a double bed on the lower level and two single beds on the upper wooden mezzanine . The room had the size of a suite with a generous sitting area and a comfortable bathroom. All in a historic building with lots of charm, common areas with antiques and nice art. The hotel is but a short walk from Cortonas main square, shops and restaurants. Try Taverna Pozzoviglio around the corner!!
