Lovely place. Holiday with a large dog and a cat, we were welcomed with courtesy and availability. The apar**ent was delightful, spotlessly clean and equipped with every comfort. Our animals were welcome and the dog was also able to take advantage of a nice running area as well as the beautiful and well-kept garden. Experience to be repeated!

Stayed here with my son and girlfriend for 11 nights. Amazing place, beautiful, authentic, super friendly staff and a great relaxed a**osphere. Located in the countryside, but close to the supermarket and of course Cortona (only a 5 minute ride uphill). Also a good spot to visited the Lago Trasimeno, Val d'Orcia, Arezzo and so on. Highly recommended!!

Together with my wife we discovered this structure somewhat by chance on the internet, intrigued by the photos we booked for the holidays (we returned just today). The location is really beautiful with a private garden and swimming pool for guests, our Pisae apar**ent is really nice and functional, we had a great time! The city center of Cortona is 3/4 km uphill so a car is necessary but this is not necessarily a bad thing, in fact the location has an a**osphere of peace and relaxation even for this distance. The owner Amata is a kind and helpful person, our days were very pleasant..

Very well restored old monastery. Exceptional building. Lots of space inside. Very useful little kitchenette. Private outdoor space appreciated. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, especially after a long day of walking exploring the most beautiful village: Cortona.

Wonderful place, it was an experience to repeat. We are a family with two small children (4-6 years old) and at the monastery we found space, privacy, large spaces but also equipped areas (playground) and a splendid swimming pool, which the children loved. There is private parking. The Sienae room we stayed in is gorgeous.

Amata is the manager. She speaks very good English. She is professional, yet very welcoming and friendly. Amata made sure we were comfortable and had everything to make our stay perfect.
My husband and I spent two weeks in one of the lovely apar**ents. He came for work and I came to keep him company. The apar**ent, a 2 bedroom 1 bath, was roomy and comfortable. The AC and the heat both worked well.
All of the apar**ents have their own outdoor area for alfresco dining. The grounds are grassy and inviting with bbqs, and the pool area is gated with our own designated loungers.
The location was perfect for us! My husband had a car for his work nearby. There is ample onsite parking. A grocery store is less than a mile away. It’s a short drive into Cortona. We drove to Cortona most evenings to walk around, shop, etc.
We loved Cortona, and our stay at Monestero San Silvestro. We would definitely stay again! We even made some new friends!!

The apar**ent exceeded what I was expecting, for the price this is a wonderful spot!, Valeria was super helpful through the whole stay. Apar**ent was huge and well equipped, the pool was very clean and a lovely spot to relax, 100% recommend.
