Hotel Baobab Suites

From Corina and Loren on reception to Richard on the bar staff, all the team at the hotel are as high quality as the hotel itself. Always smiling and so welcoming. It’s a very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like a VIP. Corina and Loren were always so helpful and made the experience. From touches like cava and strawberry coated chocolate on our anniversary to helping us with upgrading our room. Cant recall the name of the man who showed us to our room but he was equally as helpful. Think his name was Gerardo. Richard the bar man was so friendly and made our drinks with real care and passion. The BB Lounge was closed for refurbishment during most of our stay, which was a shame. As it was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast overlooking the ocean. The room we upgraded to had its own pool, which was lovely, unfortunately our neighbours on either side also had adjoining private pools and were very loud and spoiled the peace and quiet. So best take this into consideration if booking a room with a pool if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax during the day. We will definitely be back to the hotel and look forward to seeing and using the BB lounge next time.

Greetings from the Stewart Family! Just back from our annual visit and we are missing you all already! As usual, I always struggle to start this review, as I don't know what to add that I haven't already said before. Baobab Suites and all the staff there never fail to impress us. We are always greeted as if we are part of the family and much valued customers, thank you for that:) As always, a warm welcome awaited us, with the usual statement of "let us know if you need anything", and they really mean this. I have said it before, and I will say it again, the staff never fail to impress us, they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing ever is a problem. Thanks to the lovely and charming Corina, it was great to see her again, such a warm person. Thank you to Nadine and Geraldo (sorry I think that's the wrong spelling), who always had a smile and a friendly greeting whenever we passed the reception. As always, I know I am missing one or two more staff names, so apologies, your all amazing!!! Our suite, as per always, was amazing, really well laid out, and had everything you needed. Thanks to Alex for dropping in with a gorgeous and tasty fruit basket. Another friendly face we encountered. To the lovely and efficient housekeeper, Esperanza who did an amazing job of constantly keeping the suite so very clean! She is our Spanish Mum, even though she isn't old enough, but gets this name but looking after us so well. We always feel so pampered and cared for, five star services at its best! The beds were so comfortable, and the breakfast box was divine. This year we only had our breakfast in our suite once as we ventured out for the buffet breakfast the rest of the time. Wow, what a treat it was, it was a feast fit for kings & queens. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Thanks to Richard, who was there to look after us, what a gent he is. Nothing to fault at the Baobab Suites, its definitely a must visit, and we can't wait to return next year. To Louis, thank you so much, you simply are the best, and always looking out for us, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you! Louis, is a major asset to Baobab Suites, a real diamond, thank you Louis! Get ready for my email to book for next year! Thank you everyone, you keep us coming back, year after year. One of the few hotels I’d return to is Baobab suites. Everything was so luxury from our 1 bedroom divinity bliss suite, the pool areas and all the staff were so fab. The breakfast was amazing we tried the breakfast box and the buffet. Defo 5 star quality! Bottles of water everyday in the suites. The location is perfect away from the busy areas, we had a car so it was easy to go around. We ate at the pool bar for the first few days and food was lovely and reasonable. It was unfortunate there were last minute building works at the pool bar which disrupted the last few days of the trip, but this didn’t put us off returning. One other tiny thing we noticed was some of the furniture on the balcony and around the pool could do with replacing as it was discoloured but this isn’t a major issue. Everywhere else was spotless. We stayed at Baobab Suites in 2023 and was so impressed we booked to return again in 2024. We’ve stayed in one and two bed suites and I must say everything is very high quality. The kitchens are fully equipped with every piece of utensil, crockery and appliance you could ever need. We’ve found this perfect for holidaying with a baby/toddler as everything you could need is here. If you do want to go to a pool, there’s several and one has a mini beach attached to it. Complimentary water is delivered every day with the cleaning and each member of your party is given a welcome drink on arrival, along with a bottle of red wine and chocolate in the apartment. There is a large well equipped play area for kids which is manned by Anna who was very good. The staff can never do enough for you. Nothing is a problem. The complimentary breakfast buffet is excellent but you just try having the complimentary continental breakfast boxes delivered to your apartment, eating them el fresco on your balcony is a touch of glass, they’re stack full of quality ingredients. The only thing I could ‘snag’ on my stay (and I’ve seen it on other reviews) is the cleanliness of the flooring. Everyone’s feet is black bright you must wear slippers that are provided - I’m sure a little more could be done by the cleaners but all in all it’s a very small thing in a beautiful, quality hotel and setup. Already planning my next visit!

My husband and myself have just returned from a 9 night stay at Baobab Suites, this was our second visit here, our first visit we had a suite with a hot tub but this time we opted for a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool and it was the best decision. I’ll start by saying that on arrival we were greeted by Loren on reception and what a credit she is to Baobab, absolutely nothing was too much trouble the whole time we were there. I can honestly say that all the staff at Baobab Suites from reception to the maids were very friendly and helpful ……..with one exception, which was after finishing our lovely buffet breakfast, my husband had 2 bananas in which he was going to take to our suite to enjoy a little while later, but the staff in the restaurant had other ideas, with a nod and not so covert operation a manager came to our table as we were ready to leave to tell us that we are not allowed to take any food from the restaurant (it’s buffet and all you can eat) or we had to pay for it…. What made the situation even more ridiculous was the fact that there is fruit in reception to help yourself! He made my husband feel like a criminal. Putting aside the banana situation :) absolutely everything about Baobab suites was perfect from start to finish, I even had a lovely birthday cake sent to my room on my birthday and it was amazing (thanks Baobab) The suite was spotless and cleaned daily, the pool had amazing views of the sea, the surrounding area and the mountain. The B.B Lounge is great for bit of lunch or a cocktail and very reasonably priced with great views. We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Baobab Suites and hope to be back very soon!

This was our 4th time at Hotel Baobab. Since we discovered it we won’t stay anywhere else. It literally has everything you need - beautiful fully fitted apartments and the nicest staff ever. Lovely Camilla welcomed us in - she is super helpful. As are all the reception team - Fabio, Javier, Sophie, Gerardo, Corina and Loren (apologies if I’ve left any names out, you’re all wonderful!) The fantastic cleaning ladies keep the whole place sparkling and are so warm and friendly. The apartment has a great kitchen if you want to make something to eat there and there is also an excellent pool bar with delicious food and two other great places to eat. I always pay a visit to the onsite hair stylist Blanca. She is marvellous. I also had a massage from the lovely Julia at Ni Rama which left my dry skin feeling much softer. All we can say is thank you sincerely to all the superb Baobab staff for another wonderful stay. Very much looking forward to seeing you again at Christmas. Liz & Stewart ✈️🇪🇸🎅🫶

We had two amazing weeks at the Baobab Suites, staying in a 2 bed suite with private pool. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill, and whilst we walked it a few times, wouldn’t really recommend it when the sun is beating down - do yourself a favour, get a taxi back up! Our room was spacious, had all the mod cons and was cleaned thoroughly daily, and fresh bottled water provided. The open plan lounge and kitchen area led out onto our pool and terrace area, with two en-suite bedrooms to the rear. We had loads of space and the rooms were clean and tidy. We had breakfast included, primarily we went to the buffet most days, with the usual mixture of cold/cooked breakfasts. Food was of a high standard, even more so if you booked your breakfast in the B.B. Lounge, where there were a selection of breakfasts made to order - not too many people took this option up whilst we were there, which we couldn’t believe! You could also order a breakfast box to your room, but we weren’t a fan of this option in comparison to the other two. Having our own pool was brilliant, but there were always spare sun beds by the large pool, which had great views of the bay below. Finally, the staff here are superb, every one that we interacted with was friendly, polite and helpful. Over the two weeks we interacted with the reception, maintenance and pool maintenance staff on multiple occasions and they were brilliant - a real credit to the Baobab. If we were to visit Tenerife again we would definitely stay here again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others- though try to get your own pool if you can - absolutely worth it!!!

Stayed at the Baobab Suites for a week's holiday to Tenerife in one of their Divinity Lago rooms (1 bed suite with a hot tub). Firstly, the view from our balcony was absolutely 5 star, well worth the money we paid for the hotel. It was amazing seeing the mountain range one side, and having a sea view the other side and especially nice looking at this view at night in the hot tub! We loved the breakfast boxes - would highly recommend getting those and eating them in your suite as it is all locally sourced products from around the island, super fresh, and amazing it is all included in the price. So lovely to enjoy the view whilst starting your day too. We did also visit the breakfast buffet a couple of days and that was good too. I wish there were a few vegetarian alternatives for the sausages/bacon but to be honest there was still plenty to eat and we didn't go hungry. It was nice you could just pick up a bottle of juice and take it to your table too rather than having to use a communal juice dispenser. A lot of other hotels could learn from that. For dinner options we went to the BB Lounge on our arrival day and ordered room service from them as well during the stay. I would say the food is okay, and we weren't too blown away by it. Staff were very friendly and accommodated when we wanted to make a meat dish vegetarian though which was nice. The room service cost of an additional 20 Euros for them to walk it round to the room is a bit steep in my opinion though. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay and they kindly reserved a spot in the underground car park for us. I would say it is a small car park but not massively busy so if you do have a hire car, you should be able to get in there okay - if not, there is a lot of street parking around the hotel. If you don't have a hire car, reception will call taxi's up for you whenever you need and they arrive promptly within a couple of minutes which is nice. For certain areas as well you can get a voucher for those taxi journey's to be free too although it seems quite a limited area as we couldn't get into central Adeje for free by cab. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed them to be, and there were nice little touches like local chocolates left on our arrival day and departure day and a local bottle of wine. We did have a few small issues whilst there though which has stopped this being a 5 star review. Firstly there is cleaning every day and fresh towels which is nice, however the floors can still sometimes look a bit dirty and the indoor sofa and all the furniture on the balcony did look a bit grubby and could do with replacing or deep cleaning. The hot tub was fantastic but the first day we got there we pulled back the cover to find the cushions were grubby but more importantly that there was a yellow bacteria line all around the tub. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The staff cannot do enough for you and the quality of all the food has been great. The rooms have a high specification, we had a large private pool and even managed to get all our washing done whilst we sunbathed, thanks to our washing machine. The location is perfect. Although at the top of a hill, so some may find this difficult if walking, it also means the view is amazing. It's close to everything you need. Taxis are only a few euros into the main town. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!
