Club Hotel Drago Park

Me and my son went here on 22nd January for 3 nights all inclusive, we got a really good deal on this holiday. The hotel transfer took longer than expected (that was because one person decided to take over 40 mins to come out the airport) we were meant to reach the hotel by 3:30pm but didn’t arrive until 5:15pm after all the stops it needed to make to let other guests off. We got a ground floor hotel room with patio with pool view (we did request this and was very happy). The breakfast lunch and dinner was ok but not the best as by the time we got back to our table the food was nearly cold. When it came to the pool bar for snacks and drinks it was disappointing to find we had to pay for magnums and cornettos (even though we were all inclusive) only soft scoop ice cream was included. Pool was nice but could have done with being a little more warmer considering being only 20 degrees weather (that’s my opinion) i also have to say every morning they would be cleaning and mopping all the stair areas which I found quite dangerous as I did see a couple of people fall during to it being wet and no signs out to warn the guests, it was the same by the pool area too, (I did lose my footing a couple of times) Evening entertainment I can’t comment on as I didn’t see none which was surprising. Souvenir shops were 15 mins away but only a handful there so we took the free shuttle bus to Monico beach that had a few more on their ***** (10 mins by the bus) only 2 buses ran there and back so if you do miss the bus it’s 30 mins walk. My overall experience out of 10 I would rate 7.5, it was relaxing but I wouldn’t come back again!!!

From the moment we got to the reception to book in ,I felt like it is a very professionally run hotel. The staff all very efficient and work hard to present the hotel to a high standard. The food was lovely with such loads of choices and the wine was very nice. It was my bday present to go on holiday so I had hoped they would pick this up when we booked in and then on the day just put a little note saying have a nice bday as other hotels have in the past so that’s my only little thing id say as it didn’t happen. Would I return yes I sure would great time away and thanks to the management and all the staff whom work very hard.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 weeks. Reception staff were brilliant, asked beforehand by email for a fridge in our room for medication storage and it was there when we arrived. Nice big spacious, clean room, they all face the pool area, we had great view over the hills. Excellent wifi around pool and in rooms. Food was plentiful, and if you're a meat eater there is a lot of it! Steaks, huge pork steaks etc. Great cheese board every evening and a great variety of fruit at each mealtime. Entertainment is a bit repetitive but maybe that was the time of year. Lovely lobby bar to sit in after 4pm and the entertainment room opens later. The area around the hotel isn't great but the buses to Jandia run frequently. All in all, for the money you pay its a great hotel if you want some winter sunshine!

Ignore the bad reviews, we went not expecting much after reading the negatives but...for the price we paid we could not fault it. The entertainment team worked hard from 10am till 10pm making sure all the children and adults were having fun ☺️, the rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The staff are always happy and nothing was never too much trouble. Food was repetitive but you would not go hungry as always something to chose from. Only criticism would be to add extra toilet facilities by the pool bar.

We had a lovely stay at the Tui Suneo Drago Park. The resort is set in a peaceful location,the shops and beach are a bit of a walk away, although there is a little mini mart just around the corner . The All inclusive suited our needs for a family of 5, it's nice know you could grab an ice cream or cold drink when you fancied it and the cocktail/mocktails were a hit . The food was plentiful although after day 3-4 it did feel a bit of the same. I fully appreciate that it is catering on a large scale, however it would have been nice to have a themed evening, maybe using the day time restaurant as an evening local culinary experience so you could book one night or your holiday. I know this has been a theme in other TUI resorts and we did this at a hotel in Ibiza. The big swimming pool was great and the family had many hours of fun . One slight disappointment was a comment from the TUI rep at the hotel during the opening meet that left us slightly annoyed. When discussing a tour visiting an Aloe Vera plantation with other guests present she said looking at my 14 yr old daughter words or similar said "Aloe Vera is very good for bad skin for example you might find it really helps ". My daughter is very conscious about her skin, and it made her feel very embarrassed in front of complete strangers. I am sure it was said with the correct intention however it was slightly careless and however experienced maybe something to reflect on. In fact we chose to book any excursions via the app after this. Other than that all the staff work extremely hard, are polite and the rooms were clean and tidy. A fridge would be have been useful to be able to store cold drinks and some of the fixtures and fittings were in need of maintenance like the patio door mechanisms ( screws were loose) etc but it did not affect our holiday just small details for improvement. Yes I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing quiet stay. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday Many thanks
