The hotel was conveniently located for us and was recommended by friends in the area. We were disappointed by both the cleanliness and service which was a bit of a surprise... In the two weeks of travel that we did in April and May, this was actually the only hotel we stayed in that we could not just get a quick coffee to go - we were told we needed to sit in the restaurant and a server would provide us with a to-go cup of coffee for $5... Yes, they have coffee makers in the room, but it was not a very nice machine and it was in need of cleaning. On my first morning there, I went to the front desk to let them know we had a few issues with the room - the young lady, with her arms folded, asked me what was wrong... I told her about the bathroom sink not draining, my clock needing reset and that behind the bathroom door, the floor was covered in straight long black hair. I am a curly blonde. Not once did she utter the words, "I'm sorry". Instead, once she actually started to write things down, she asked me again about the sink and when I repeated I needed housekeeping to address the bathroom floor she told me she would tell housekeeping to do a full clean of the room. I shared that I had hoped they would have done that before I checked in the previous evening. The rest of the stay was okay, but there are other Marriott's and Hilton's in the area that I will consider for my next trip to the area.
