Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County by IHG
8.1 (111 reviews)

Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County by IHG ★★★★

📍 3131 Bristol St, Costa Mesa

"We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on a family trip. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location near my son's university and just a 5-minute drive from his host family's home. It was very convenient. Access to Long Beach, Newport Beach, and Anaheim Disney was excellent. The two queen-size beds were large enough for our family of four (two parents, a college student, and a high school student) to rest comfortably. It was great to have amenities like a refrigerator, iron, hairdryer, and free ice available at the end of the hallway. The front desk explained that room cleaning is typically every three days, but they were able to accommodate our request for daily towel changes and trash disposal without any issues. It's pretty standard, so no complaints there. My son wasn't too satisfied with the gym, as it had limited equipment, but we weren't there primarily for exercise, so again, no complaints. Overall, the best aspect of our stay was the excellent access to the areas we wanted to visit. McDonald's is right next door, so it might be perfect for McDonald's lovers. The hotel's quality itself was neither good nor bad, hence this rating."

📍 686 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite South Coast Plaza. The facilities and cleanliness are quite good, though the room itself is a bit small. Parking is inconvenient as you have to park outside."

Travelodge by Wyndham Costa Mesa Newport Beach Hacienda ★★

📍 1951 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa

"The hotel has a good location and good value for money. The TV is big and the sanitation is OK, but the air conditioner is a bit noisy. The room is big enough and you won't feel crowded. The rest is just average."

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Costa Mesa / Newport Beach
5.6 (43 reviews)

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Costa Mesa / Newport Beach ★★

📍 1515 S Coast Dr, Costa Mesa

"I had a very enjoyable experience here at La Quinta Inn. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Belgian waffles were delicious and the coffee was very good. I liked the fact that it was available morning and afternoon. I will definitely stay here when I visit again."

Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa
8.3 (125 reviews)

Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa ★★★★

📍 3050 Bristol St, Costa Mesa

"I would say it is not a really modern hotel, the facilities are little bit aged. However the over all vibe is very cozy. The staff are nice and helpful.  Personally it is very close to my workplace, I'll definitely consider staying at this place again next time. "

Costa Mesa Inn - Newport Beach Area ★★★
"The motel was decent, close to the beach, and the rooms were quite spacious with free parking. The downsides were that it wasn't very clean, the carpet smelled, the soundproofing was so-so, and the shower was quite low."

"The hotel has a great overall environment and a heated swimming pool, which is nice for swimming at night. However, the staff forgot to clean our room, which made our experience very unpleasant. Internet access was supposed to be paid, but the front desk waived it after we contacted them."

"This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. First room was full of roaches and when I asked to be moved to another room I was moved to one that had dead bugs on the bathroom and smelled like sewage pipes/ mold. Left the hotel covered in bites… extremely concerned for my health after this one save your time and money. This place is awful"

Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa ★★★★
"I booked two nights separately. On the first day, I was assigned a room and asked to come and update the access card the next day. The next day when I came back from the meeting at night. The card could still be used, but all my things were gone. I had a Privacy card on door before I left. The reception said again that they didn't see my order and the room was checked out. I hadn't checked out by the third morning when the cleaner took out my things again. What kind of hotel shows no minimum respect for guests' belongings"
