Just stayed for 1 night, really wasnt long enough. Hotel is stunning, food was fabulous and staff the best, they just made the experience...would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.

In all my years Tour Guiding around Ireland, Lough Eske Castle must be one of the best or the best place to stay, All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was the best I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was first class and plenty. You must stay at Lough Eske Castle.

We stayed for two nights, and enjoyed absolutely every minute of the visit. This is a very special property, backed by even more special staff! I won't hesitate to return!

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and efficient reception staff. Our room had been well prepared and was well serviced each day. The room was spacious with very good facilities and was extremely comfortable. The public areas in the hotel are very attractive. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. The hotel grounds are extensive and well maintained. Staff with whom we interacted were friendly, efficient and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay in this beautiful hotel.

I would highly recommend staying at Lough Eske Castle if you’re ever in the vicinity. Excellent in every way, this is one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying while, while visiting Ireland over the years. Location, ambiance, facilities, staff all help make this a memorable place to stay!

We stayed two nights in April 2024. A perfect location, within a few minutes drive to Donegal town, but felt like a secluded and private estate. Make sure to spend a day just enjoying the castle grounds and area by foot. Borrow a bike or take one of the walks and use the spa and swimming pool. The staff is amazing, the food is great, the bars are charming. Find a spot by one of the many fireplaces to enjoy a late evening.

Grounds beautiful and well maintained. Rooms fabulous with a very comfortable bed. Only stayed one night as attending a wedding. Would love to return. Extensive breakfast.
