3 star hotel Living on previous good reviews which is why I booked General sense of complacence - maybe that is the local laid back style but charging high rates. Lovely location and rooms are good Food is of a good standard but attention to detail and presentation is poor - Staff are efficient and friendly. General impression is that focus is on maximum profitability Maybe need a refocus on the guest rather than the revenue Overall a good experience which could be improved for guests with a sharpened up approach from management

Very elegant hotel with excellent service. Traditional in the good old way. Excellent location on the main street and beside the very beautiful beach. I would choose this hotel once again and would recommend it to anyone travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way.

We have stayed at Arnold’s over the years and the experience just gets better. Booking was simple and straight forward. We stayed in room 35 which was spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated and had a delightful sea view from the bay window. We had a two course Sunday lunch in the lounge bar ,the turkey and ham plus roast beef followed by apple crumble was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff through out our stay from reception to bar were very welcoming and a pleasure to deal. All in all a great stay and can’t wait to go back. Thank you to all.John and Marie.

Relaxing afternoon tea served in the hotel reception area. We sat in really nice comfy chairs overlooking the bay. Staff were all very friendly. The scones were amazing, served warm with homemade jam and cream. Really nice coffee too, would definitely recommend. We were not staying at the hotel just called in whilst visiting the area.

The hotel is very comfortable. Staff very welcoming and helpful. A few suggestions-there were no tissues/ body lotion in bedrooms. I think Nescafé needs replaced with better quality coffee ie Negresso machines. Dinner was very good but breakfast a little disappointing. Had to ask for marmalade, pepper, scrambled eggs not freshly made, Americano coffee extra cost. Small issues but would make difference. But location excellent. Maybe sometime should have “ gym” in case weather awful. We were lucky.

Arrived Arnolds on a very wet afternoon, but greeted with a warm smile at reception. Food good, bed good, staff very attentive and fun. Bar food in hotel is excellent with special attention drawn to chowder. Would recommend staying at Arnolds!

The Reception Staff were very Pleasant and helpful, Room with a view,, was excellent, very warm on the first night, bed very comfortable, meals were delicious, and dining room staff were very pleasant and meals served promptly, location of the hotel swayed us to book it,,, lovely area for walks and driving. A highly recommended Hotel to stay in.

Fantastic welcome and surprised with a room upgrade at no extra charge. Room was spacious, clean and a great view over Sheephaven Bay. Nothing was too much trouble for staff who were truly attentive whether in the restaurant or bar. Food was wholesome and delicious. Thank you one and all for a brilliant weekend.

Great Hotel with Old Fashioned Hospitality.We were on a business trip and the awkward customer .We needed a late dinner and an early breakfast because of our schedule .We were accommodated for both without any problem. Thank you .This was Irish Hospitality at its very finest. Great Hotel,Great Location .
