We had a lovely visit to this small hotel. The hotel had a lovely family feel. It was extremely busy on the Sunday we arrived, but we managed to get a table for dinner. Roast dinners are very reasonable and large portions. The next evening was less busy and easier to get seated in the restaurant. Food was reasonably priced and nice enough on that basis. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

My self and my husband spent 2 nights in the strand hotel.Hve to say it was wonderful .The Staff & owner was great .Service 100%.Our room was very comfortable .Food was very tasty . Defo would recommend and hopefully will stay there again .

Have recently returned after another great stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out we were extremely well looked after. Rooms spotless and welcoming. Food excellent. Owner and staff have always time for a chat which makes guests feel very welcome. Well done to the whole team. Cant wait for another stay.

Just back from 2 nights in Strand hotel With 40 senior citizens, if I had anything to do with star ratings this hotel would be 5 star because rooms were clean, food was excellent. This was one of the best weekends we have ever had. Thank you to Johnny and all his staff for being so caring and above all the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Cheers Trevor.

Amazing just absolutely amazing from the welcome, staff and just the a**osphere. Rooms where clean and tidy. The food was just unbelievable, refused to eat anywhere else during my stay. Excellent price as well. Upgraded room on first day. The view is amazing few minute walk from a beautiful beach, local shop near by, stayed from the 5th june and checked out on 7th room 51/45. First day was sunday really busy resturant times and the kitchen staff was behind and the fact they came to let myself and partner know on the delays and order will be taken shortly, everything was just wonderful as many places would just leave you sitting wondering what is going on. Very assertive. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we will be back again :)

The Hotel decor is slight dated but don't let that put you off. It is spotless, excellent breakfast but the main reason I give it 5 stars is the staff, so friendly and professional. Great location, we will definitely be back again. Plenty of great bars in the area.

Hotel reception is lovely but the rooms are tired and could do with updating the curtains could really do with being changed the outdoor area could do with being cleaned as a lot of the chairs were covered in bird mess and lots of cigarette ends littered the area we felt really uncomfortable and went back inside on the upside the staff are so friendly the room was clean and the breakfast was good

Cozy hotel, rooms are not fancy but, bed was very comfortable. Food is excellent, full Irish Breakfast, meals at night in the bar are delicious. Cozy a**osphere in the lounge. I would recommend this hotel for price value to anyone touring the northwest in the Republic of Ireland.

Stayed here with my family for three nights in February, lovely comfortable warm hotel with very helpful and friendly staff they really couldnt do enough for you, the food was great too, great breakfasts, we will be back.
