Fabulous stay at Shandon . Room with a fantastic view over Sheephaven Bay . Staff were friendly and professional throughout the hotel . Breakfast was excellent . Bar food menu had a good selection including sharing platters . Stunning location . So quiet and peaceful. Great place to escape and relax

Third time staying and as always enjoyable stay. Staff excellent, food very good and all had a great time at hotel. View from bedrooms is a sight to behold and rooms were clean and well provided for with tea/coffee, fluffy towels and comfy beds. Looking forward to next stay already.

Beautiful and quiet hotel with an amazing view! Staff was very polite and helpful, and the food at the restaurants in the hotel was spectacular. We stayed at the Shandon for a friend's wedding and I was amazed at how well the staff handled everything. If I wasn't already married, I would consider getting married there myself. I hope to be able to visit again soon!

Room was very clean and tidy with a marvelous view of the sea and landscape. The dinner we had was really top quality as was the service from the friendly and professional staff. Getting a late night cap was also no trouble from the friendly bar staff.. Breakfast was standard buffet style. Would have no hesitation in staying at this little hidden gem again.

I booked my wife and daughter a 1 night spa package here as a Chris**as gift. They loved the place and went on about it so much I just had to go and see for myself so booked a one night recently for my wife and I. (Daughter not happy…😀) I have to say it was all they had told me and more. Really comfortable bedrooms , a view you would die for and a five minute walk to a fantastic beach. We had a magnificent 6 course meal in Marbles restaurant, highly recommended, and rounded that off with a few drinks in the bar. Although our check in wasn’t till 4.00 pm we were able to arrive early and avail of the facilities in the Leisure centre. We didn’t opt for any spa trea**ents but my wife and daughter had done so in an earlier visit and loved that so much that they are currently planning a return trip. Last, but certainly not least, were the staff. They gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel so valued.

We stayed at the Shandon for one night. From the moment we approached the hotel we knew it was going to be something special. All staff were exceptionally friendly polite and accommodating. The receptionist was very informative and suggested things to do during our stay. The bedroom was lovely. All wants and needs were catered for. Can't wait to return.

Our overnight stay and spa experience were excellent. The bedroom was lovely, really clean, with a great sea view and had everything we needed for our stay. The thermal suite is so relaxing and the staff were incredibly helpful. I loved the hydrotherapy pool and the experience showers. The food was great both for afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

As always, our visit to the Shandon was perfect! Beautiful location, stylish decor, spacious bedrooms with all the essentials included - tea/coffee/ biscuts/water/ toiletries . Beautiful breakfast and very kind staff. We will definitely return during the summer months.

The hotel has the air of being very well managed and organized. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a room overlooking Sheephaven Bay with a panoramic and stunning view. The room itself is extremely comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent and the breakfast is comprehensive. The Spa and leisure facilities give plenty of scope for pampering and enjoyment. The hotel frontage commands great scenic views and includes a terrace with tables and seating surrounded by well maintained plants and shrubs. The hotel’s situation is just above Marble Hill beach and within short driving distance for the many sites of interest in the area. Having cruised and stayed in hotels in many parts of the world, the Shandon is up there with the best - a place you would want to return to!
